After Singer Clay Aiken (American Idol) came out that he's gay. Some of you already know Clay Aiken.

Then now Ricky Martin (Former as "Menudo") came out today that he's gay. I'm not surprised that celebrity is coming out of the closet sooner or later. He kept his private life just like Rock Hudson.

Ricky Martin Open to Gay Relationship

Singer Ricky Martin tentatively approaches the question of his sexual orientation by acknowledging his openness to a gay relationship in the new issue of TV Aqui magazine, reports PerezHilton.com.

Says Hilton: “In the latest issue of TV Aqui magazine, Ricky Martin takes a hesitant step out of the closet, looks around, steps back in, but leaves the door slightly ajar.”

TV Aqui magazine describes the exchange on its Twitter page:

“Ricky Martin talked to our editor Saudy Rivera and accepted his heart could belong to male or a female...more in our next issue.”

Speculation that he is gay has long followed the Grammy Award–winning Martin, 37. The Puerto Rican native has repeatedly denied the rumors in the past. Last summer, he announced that he was the father of twin boys via a surrogate mother.

So? Darren Hayes (formerly of Savage Garden) came out in 2006 when he wed longtime partner Richard Cullen. I have seen the two of them together and I think they make a wonderful couple.

Ellen is gay - it was shocking back in the earl nineties because the majority of America still held on to traditional beliefs, and for some time, Ellen's career suffered, but she made a brilliant comeback and now she's more popular than ever.

Elton John well - he's just a crazy kook I think but even after he came out, he was still knighted by the Queen. That gesture alone was probably enough to let the world start embracing the fact that a lot of our leaders, military personnel, actors, and what have you knot are closeted homosexuals and no one has suffered for it except the ones that have struggled with themselves to keep quiet and wanted to lift the cloak and step into the light.

Not all gay men are 'flamboyant', not all lesbians are butch. I have met people that you would not have expected to be gay, but they were, and I have not respected them any less for it, but in actuality I probably have respected them all the more for it.

Its about being comfortable in your own skin and not feeling like a failure or defect because of it.

And Adam Lambert, runnerup in this year's "American Idol"...finally came out and long speculation that he was....The subject was brought up a lot but he was in denial UNTIL the winner was picked....or after the show ended.....

"WHY"??...would it have hurt his chances??....I suspected he was Gay when I was watching the show....and made the comment to my boys that "I think he's gay..."

As for Elton JOhn....he's a fabulous singer!...The best!...

And a little off-topic here....people are so nice and all until someone says: "meet so-and-so...he/she's deaf"...and its like..."Oh...."!....so we're labeled to some extent!....

And yes, its nice that more and more famous people are coming out.
I remember back in high school when Ellen came out (and that was late 90's not early)

In the coming days we are going to see more and more pop stars come out, some of which will surprise and others will simply do what we have suspected and are simply waiting for them to come.

After all, he denied it for all these years. And it's his right actually; as long as he's not coming out and saying bad things about gay folks, he has a right a private private life.
