Slept in a bit. Hubby & I went to late morning Celtic harp jamming session performed by friends, at a coffee shop, to enjoy some awesome music for the spirit. Later we took a nice leisurely walk w/ Mika dog and for the 2nd day in a row, I felt strong enough to leave my walking staff behind. Now we are watching the Olympics. Will do my zazen & t'ai chi chih in a bit. Then will make beef stew later for dinner.

Did my errands today. Gamestop, produce market, Walmart, Walgreens, Goodwill (drop-off), Whole Foods, then home. Have had a crappy day since. Feel like I have been hit by a truck.

Threw away two tennis balls and a rubber squeaky toy that the puppy managed to chew through.

Made little vanilla cakes in my cake making appliance. (Dogs love cake!)

Took a walk in the slightly cooler weather and bought a turkey sandwich.

Lastly have been watching SyFy while the dogs companionably chew rawhide.

I started pedaling on motorized bicycle, doing some bench press, and a few other exercises. I have to wean on using the boot (exception for upstairs and two small steps). I finally use Air Jordan slipper and sneaker for my right foot. Pain has been down lately after doing exercises.

I am looking forward to getting more PT, so I can able to walk sooner.

I went to KMart to do an exchange, then to Winn Dixie for milk for MIL. Then home to read and just relax due to being in a great deal of pain. Not a good couple of days with my fibromyalgia.

Thanks!! Today was better. I did my 2 libraries and went to pharmacy twice for MIL. Been resting and reading otherwise, but no pain. Also, I did get to speak with the contractor as well.

Lots of chores and necessary shopping, a meal out with family, and now watching my husband try to find out how to set up an HD antenna to get over the air broadcasts.

Mowed some of the way overgrown areas of my lawn. Though it's not as hot as it has been, it was still to hot for me to do the whole backyard. Maybe I'll some more done tomorrow after work. At least the worst areas are done.

Got paperwork turned in for Medicare (bill to come later for Sept.) so I can then apply for supplemental so I can keep same healthcare & docs. Walked Mika dog. Happy dawg! Worked w/ tech issues for internet CapTel phone. Argued w/ medical tech -- and being able to do so on my CapTel phone (YAY! ) --- *twice* -- who wanted me on an RX that causes me nasty side effects. I won that go-round. HA! Did my online stuff. DH (husband) BBQing chicken. Having some wine. Olympics watching later.

Had a severe thunderstorm and a power outage. Took our two older dogs to the groomer.

Went to a restaurant with a large family group to celebrate a birthday.

Zoey went with my husband and served as a bait dog to get the neighbor's elderly rat terrier to come back home. They were successful.

Not a whole lot. The nasty heat is back. Suppose to be between 104-108 degrees for the next 7 days. I have lived in Cali all my life and this is so not normal. Usually have 14 days over 100 degrees during the summer. We hit that in just one month. What is going on???

shipping wars is more fun to watch... the old guy is hilarous tho.. the guy with the YUP trademark is annoyin as fook but he is smart.

I actually mowed for two hrs straight today..gonna rain for next two days startin tomorrow. I made a new path from my driveway to old shed that was built probably back in 50s..the roof is all metal and still in decent shape..it is well hidden..there is some kind of farm equipment next to the shed..it's so rusty!

Whew - I had a productive day. I took my autistic/deaf son to his behavioral therapy session - did some reps on working to introduce him to variety of new foods - trying to get him to eat "wet" types of foods because he's hellbent on refusing it. Then, After that, I had to stop by the pharmacy to get prescription refills for the kids. Stayed out in the sun to do some of the mowing - I did the front yard and my other son (11 yr old) helped out to do the back yard. Pulled out the weeds. And we all ended the day to take a dip in the pool for the evening. Now, I'm all sunburnt.

Going to rain shortly here in Toronto-a bit cooler. Hopes the rain ends-tonight before Cochlear Implant exercise-Salsa 2.
Too busy to "retire" at the moment!
