Took MIL to her post-op appointment. Made 3 trips to the pharmacy. Made some calls via i711 relay (P3) for contractor and printed out all the info from the calls. Spoke with contractor and general contractor. And now, I have just remembered and completed the change of address on my Voter ID card. Mother's and MIL's were done when they got their Driver's licence change to State ID cards, but when I got my driver's license change with the new address, they did not change my voter ID.

Well, I am F* bored around here, as I have been off for nearly a week after busting my rear in the early part of the month at work. I ended up doing this... Making plastic didgeridoos!

I assume you may not know what a didgeridoo is unless you live in the UK or in Australia, or have had some exposure to the aborigines in Australia while on vacation.

It is the oldest woodwind instrument around that we know of, which makes a very low sound that you can alter with your mouth. If there are any other didge players here, speak up, otherwise I won't go into the details on these didges, as my explanations get technical right off the bat. This is the new direction as a musician that I have been speaking of recently.

I'm glad you're not bored any more, but the sound of didgeridoo is scary to me! I hope you make some awesome music.

I finally got fed up with my back being in excruciating pain and busted out my old yoga video.. it's really basic but it's amazing how much it helps.

Friends visited....gave them 2 rose bushes...also went to the Vet's office to get my dog & cat flea control. Lady in there had a puppy, a Pomeranian, realllly cute. Waiting on the repair man...after that, gonna fix some dinner. And give my doggie a bath (the Cat will probably jump in too, as he seems to enjoy the water).

Made a quick run to Whole Foods. Other than that, I have snoozed a little and watched the guys scramble to cover the plywood on the roof of the extension before the rain hit. We currently have a massive downpour with thunder and lightning. The guys are all inside the garage/house cleaning it up and marking lines for the rooms on the new foundation.

Yesterday: got my car back from the mechanic. YAY! I swear my little orange Beetle was dancing on the freeway while we zoomed on home, while I was blasting the Beach Boy's "Do you wanna dance?" Got shopping and a library run for movies done on the way home. Quiet evening at home after that. Today, since I had a rough time yesterday forgetting to take my ibuprofen for arthritis, and my ankle brace & walking staff, was in a lot of pain by evening yesterday, after getting car then doing errands on my feet. Slept in today and feeling *much* better! Will push on with new chapters in ASL class...new chapter means making new flash cards for it.

Our godsons/foster sons are here for the 'week-end' (their week-ends often begin on thursday and end on Tuesday during the summer).

We sorted seashells, worked on a sticker book, they went swimming with my older kids, and now they are pitching the tent in the side yard and my husband is sleeping out with them and our son. The girls were invited, but they turned down the invitation.

Found out a friend got a divorce sometime during the past year. Last I had talked to her was last summer & a week after that her world came crashing down when her husband left her (and their 3 kids) to move in with a younger women. I stopped by her house after work to give her a hug and we talked for a bit.

Today was pretty busy. Went to Vocational rehab this morning then stopped by to talk to my access counselor at school. After that I came home and took my scooter apart to do a tune up. Cut the grass. Rode 3 miles on my bike. Now ready to go to bed.

While I was on my walk with my dog Marty today , saw a woman pick up a turtle that was on the sidewalk and put in on the grass. The poor turtle was really dried out and getting hot, some bratty kids most likely took the turtle out of the pond and left it on the ground to dies! I picked up the poor thing and carried it back to the pond which would had been impossible for the turtle to get back to. I was thinking of taking Marty to the park instead of going to the duck pond , I am so glad I decided to go the pond so I was glad to help save the little turtle . I wish there was some way to have the city keep kids from taking the turtle out oft he water and bring them home to dies.

Had church this morning and that's about all I've done with the exception of MIL's eye drops.

Mostly just sitting around drinking coffee, and doing the laundry. And I probably won't do anything much more exciting for the rest of the day.

At least Eureka is on SyFy channel tonight.

Went to second day of Pridefest to meet up with an old friend. Pigged out on buttered noodles with chicken. Went to Wal-Mart and bought a new nail file, then to GameStop to buy Bioshock 2 and Transformers War for Cybertron for my oldest. Now home with my feet in a hot epsom salt soak... uuugh pain!
