Went to my father on law's funeral. He had a 21 gun salute, and I could see the shell casings fly out shining in the sun. The veterans gave my mother in law a flag to keep.

I went to work, texted my pastor, then came home and read an entire book in one sitting. Just finished and about to go get some dinner.

Let's see, considering that I woke up at 1am, then laid in bed until 5:30am, it was the start of a crappy day.

I eventually got my coffee (yes, I am back on it), made breakfast, went to 2 libraries, took hubby his cell phone that he misplaced. (he left it in the other vehicle), paid my phone bill and a few others, went to the grocery, fixed lunch and have been online since with the exception of dinner. Doing my best to stay awake until I take a sleeping pill at 10pm. Have 2 hours to go.

I took Marty for a walk and forgot there was going to a siren test ! The sirens went off and poor Marty freaked out and I was trying to turn my HA off! I had to go in the court house to escape the sound. The cop was nice and let us wait until the test was over. Marty did not want to go outside so I had to carry him out! He was growling at sound as it hurt his ears so much. The siren scared the crap out the seagulls too they where flying all over the place ,they looked rater confused the way they where flying.

It did. He was a very outgoing kind man , and many people came to celebrate his life. We really miss him.

I sat in a very small waiting area at the local mechanics getting my car fixed. Tire sensors were bad and had to be replaced ( the flat tire monitor ).
For five long hours. I met an interesting array of people. A cop, we chatted for a good hour. A public speaker of some sort and our talks became spiritual as she asked since I was Deaf if my other senses were sharper. We chatted for a good hour as well. Then I met a weather man who was also an oceanographer and we had a very intellectual discussion on all things weather. It was rather ironic because we had tornados today in my area and warnings were going off as we were chatting. We chatted for a good 2 hours. The last hour was in silence thankfully.

I'm exhausted....

Need to get the crock-pot out to work on my veg broth. Have gone to grocery again and need to go to drug store. (got an email from doc for some supplements for hubby), and I have scanned and emailed more documents regarding this loan. The Title company needed a few more including the certified death certificate for my FIL. MIL has never taken his name off any of the accounts or property and doesn't plan to until she's gone and it all transfers to us. She has already taken care of the paperwork for that. She has also taken care of signing over the ownership of the lot and garage to hubby and I for taxes.

Pancreatic cancer has got about 95% mortality rate within 5 years of the diagnosis and it has not changed since the 1960's, as far as I know. This is one of the toughest types cancers that exist.

Never did get the crock-pot going, but I did get hubby's supplements.

Also got my paperwork for my new insurance plan through Medicare for next year.

I took my dog for walk today at the same park , Marty like to meets other dogs, he bark at them , I am still trying to stop this. I saw 2 mothers with their little girls and the mothers where letting the girls throw handfuls of pebbles at the ducks!! There where 3 or 4 girls and they where all doing this while the mothers watched! I told the girls to stop and i told the one of mother i came here for nice walk not see ducks being abused! I think I need find a new place to walk my dog! I can't believe people will allow their kids to hurt animals ! One girl was trying to hit the ducks in the heads.
