Why is it taking me ages to reach 28,000 posts!?

I am thinking if I will be able to get away from the farm long enough to see about getting back on at Tyson. I found out that my former boss will be giving me a positive recommendation to the hiring manager.

Going to spend all day in the library helping a friend who teaches ASL write some kind of term paper. I am not sure exactly what the paper entails!

Am thinking about people who don't stand up in Court when the Judge enters the chamber...I noticed 2 people who refused to stand up...(they were not deaf or wheelchair bound)....lack of respect?....

thinking about what kind of food i should make tonight before i take it to my friend's tomorrow.. i want to save $$$ instead of eating out like i always do whenever i'm with her.

Wowie,thinking about how long it's been since i have been here. I think I would like to share with everyone that just as I lost my hearing overnight, 9 years ago, just this month, overnight again, I woke to hearing sounds. Have been to Audi and will be getting digital hearing aid next month, my 1st hearing aid. Am thinking about all the things I have learned about since becoming profoundly deaf, what an eye opener. Smile, life is good, Yeah!

That's a big "WOW!"....Haven't heard a sound since I lost mine at age 14....went in for surgery that AM, and after 6 hours of it...woke up Deaf....

Well Botts, if it's any consolation to you, I have fell UP the stairs in the past!

It hurts just as bad going up as it does going down.

I'm worried about my dad. My mother says he's pulse is up, blood pressure is down and lower lobes of his lungs aren't expanding up like they should so he's on the respirator today. My mother says he's not in much pain though. Looks like he will be in ICU for a while.
