My daughter left. My son cried but handled it a lot better than last year. Just like before, I feel a sense of emptiness but it will be temporary as we get busy. Also, we all are flying to AZ on Sat anyway.

I was wondering how your son was going to handle her leaving. It is so hard to understand what is going on with that at his age. Telling him that he will see her again soon just doesn't mean much to a small child, because to them, a minute seems like an hour.

Dont I know that!!! That's one of the reasons why I put that on my FB status because some of my friends on my FB still are associated with my ex hubby so I hope they send that message to him and show what an asshole he is.

Also it got effing hot here. Official temp was 114 degrees according to my weather app. I knew it was bad hot, but I didn't realize it was that bad. I think Ft. Smith got up to 115 or 116 today. I nearly melted at work and we had alarms going off left and right in our chicken houses. The cool cells were going like there was no tomorrow and every fan was at full-speed. It was bad enough the computer couldn't keep up to keep the houses cool. By this afternoon I felt like I was going to keel over at any moment.

I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ready for FALL!!
