After graduating from college, I did apply for a position as an Academic Advisor for the Students with Special Needs for Montgomery County Community College but they denied my application since I didnt have 5 years of teaching experience at the time. Now, I have 9 years under my belt so I am thinking about something like that. Meanwhile, my program got a new principal who is deaf so I want to see how the school year goes...if things change for the better or not.

It's west of St. Louis and spreads itself across two side of the state line. Missouri and Kansas.

Oh, it's also about a 2 hour (give or take) drive from Columbia and about 4-5 hours (give or take) from St. Louis. All on one interstate, I-70.

I'm thinking I may soon get my refund from the auto finance company. The account department claims they sent it as a direct deposit on 7/7 and I get a call from the same person I spoke to last week, (Office of the President, he was a Veep) and he asked if I got the credit. I said no and he then asked me to fax my bank statement showing the debit and all overdraft fees and he will have them reimburse it all by the end of this week. *crossing only one set of fingers on this*

thinking how I will be so glad to return to ESY tmw after 3 days of intensive training of the new curriculm although it wil be the last day of ESY. Just feels weird to return and then to say "Hi, and bye!" to my students. Oh well.

I am thinking how I wished I could get a two-day weekend again. I don't mind the farmwork, but I would like to get more than just one day off a week. I'm burned out. I'm praying that something new will open up to me, if not, I will be tempted to say forget it and try to get back to finishing my degree at Uni.

Thinking that my life's at standstill in some ways.

Not sure how to change that. Although, I have started thinking about going back to uni and do something, but I don't want to study for years again, and I might need to .

Education Pedagogy sounds interesting but I have to do teaching course before doing this course, blah.

I wish I could go back to uni to study freely like you can. I say if the opportunity is there to gain knowledge, then pursue it.

I'm working everyday without days off doing shoveling and grunt work.

Be thankful you have 1 day off.

I also applied for another job that will have me working non stop for about 2 months when i get it.

I'm thinking that the emergency services in our area will be really confused after we get our home built.

We got our house number today and it's really cracking hubby and I up. Seems the lady across the street was the first in the neighborhood and has a 3 digit house number in the 600 series, MIL's house follows hers by one digit and the lady next to MIL is a 4 digit number in the 5000 series. We originally thought we would be 2 digits off from MIL's address, but they want to get the house numbers cleared up and corrected. We will have a new 4 digit house number in the 5000 series and when MIL passes away and we get her house, we will then change that lot to the new corrected address. It avoids her having to change her address on everything and she's had this address since 1963 or there-about.

They've come out a number of times already for both MIL and FIL, but at least we have big plain easy to see numbers on the mailbox and we will get them on the house now.

it's good idea to give them a call (on non-emergency line) and let them know just to make sure.

We have done so previously and they have marked their amps and such. It seems we are not the only neighborhood in this area like this.
