I hope I have a a stress free iOS 5 update to my iPhone. I synced my phone BEFORE downloading the update. I'm told that should prevent me from losing my contacts and photos.

I learned that my neighbor's family members from Georgia do not understand clear English. We posted signs asking for no parking on our grass. This neighbor was hosting a baby shower for her son and daughter-in-law and they had 90 people over. We cleared out the driveway to the garage, (parked both vehicles in the garage for the day) and told them to use the driveway and if they did it right, could get 11 cars in the driveway. Well, there were 3 cars, then some jerk-off parked on the road blocking the driveway, so the others, parked all over our yard by the garage. They totally ignored our signs, drove over the barrier rope and we are hoping they did not ruin the sprinkler system. It was all heavy SUV's in the yard and MIL is fit to be tied. Neighbor has said, if the sprinklers system was messed up, she will pay for the repairs. We just had the system replaced a few months ago.

I learned that I will be responsible for running at least 3 meetings to train the whole school on the new Math curriculm within the next month and half. That means I have to prepare and all that...too short of a notice! *pulling my hair out!*

From what I understand, it's been closed and possibly removed. I found out through FB and I'm not sure where the actual thread is.

I just learned the doctors removed half of my dad's tongue, all of his lower teeth up to and including his incisors, dissected his neck on both sides to take out the lymph nodes and some of his inner jaw bone to make a margin of safety from tumor. All of these tested negative for tumor. He also got a trach and had skin blood vessels, nerves transfered from his arm to fill up the holes in his mouth. My mother says she feels encoraged. I'm thinking I will see him on Thurs.

Good Gawd that sounds like a lot. I hope all goes well and that he begins the road to recovery.

I learned that hubby is healthier than originally thought. He had a check-up this morning and the doctor was pleased with everything. We do have referrals for a colonoscopy, a sleep study, a CT-scan for his heart (enlarged aorta) and blood work, but all in all he is healthy.
