Goodness, I am beginning to feel lousy. Woke up with a scratchy throat, but nothing else. Sneezes started about an hour ago and now, the head is all plugging up. No fever, nothing else. Son is feeling the same, but he thinks it's allergies as we both feel better when we are outside. Daughter is the one all congested and stopped up. She is taking Robitussin. For our sake, I am hoping son & I do not have colds as we cannot take anything for it at all.

Knock on wood, Kristina...we all just about had the same thing and believe it was just January's allergies....No colds....It rained today (and wasn't supposed to, according to our hot-shot weatherman on TV)...and I've noticed some green slime on the ground, it's pollen from the trees. So I avoid all of it. My doggie goes out for her business, I take a towel and sort of dust her off...

whe collecting a pizza from the shop tongiht i saw a hoh-deaf-wanna-be there , she's a community relations officer and it just stink seeing how warped this Deaf office actually employs the wrong kinds with more emphasis on match skills for cheapest money, (real assholes as employers _ive been told). Anyway, she is an unfreindly snob, so up herself, its plain to see that for her, that having this job as 'a paid position' is all about 'the much fangled "self-image". She prides herself as an important person to negotiate 'poor deafies' into jobs, but its real shit jobs like window cleaning....and she brags (I've seen this before) to hearing about how 'wonderful her job is' -saying how wonderful she is as an overcomer, geeeee I loathe the likes of her.
Her attitude is SHITTTTTT......i came away with pizza heading off home, thinking she doesnt deserve that job...as a hoh-wannabe-hearie-monster..it's like she's a parasite in both ways, Using her deafness to get employed (as an overcomer) and using us deafies to as 'easy/easier to deal with clients. Its got Nothing to with with a meaningfullness aspiration in being Deaf. its more about status and hiding from herself, and that is ugly, ugly UGLY.

Well - it was confirmed. MIL, son, hubby, daughter and I are all suffering from severe allergy attacks. Son is having issues since it is wreaking havoc with his asthma. Hubby is doing better and is able to work. Son, daughter and I are dealing with chest congestion, and lots of drainage. MIL has the headaches, plugged ears, drainage, chest congestion and it is producing dizzy spells for her. She is currently bed-bound from it. I can go out, but I live with Kleenex in hand and cough drops have been helping somewhat.

its the same here, weather patterns getting wierd, excess plants pollens creating an upsurge of hayfever attacks on those who dont normally get hayfever, ot stricken down harder on those with hayfever (im the former), this year and mid of 2011 when had the bad flu, changed me, i am now a hayfever sufferer, i ****ing hate it.

We all have environmental allergies (grass, dust, plants, pollen and that kind of thing). I am also allergic to freon and dairy. Son & I also have allergies to medicines. So mostly it's just the environmental stuff.

The doctors say that hay fever, mold and most environmental allergies are running rampant.
