Worked, came home. Nothing exciting except for the drive which was bad. Combo of ice, sleet, and snow on the roads makes for crazy drivers.

Well - did some yoga and tai chi as well as some of my old gymnastics stretching exercises. My neck is loosening up and there is only small amounts of pain. I will do more exercises this evening. Today being Wednesday, we did our 2 libraries and made a bank deposit. Had to help hubby out with sprinkler repairs, took him to get stuff to do an oil change on the Expedition. Read a books and fixed dinner for the family. I did not eat as I do not like salmon.

I got up went to work with horendous headache, popped a couple of Tylenol. Got done with first gathering, went home still had a headache popped a couple more Tylenol took a nap. Got up went to second gathering, finished it, went home, took a couple more Tylenol, took another nap. Went to last gathering, still had a headache, took a couple more Tylenol, started to feel better, came home and now I am roaming AD.com on my laptop and thinking about my housing options.

Went out to lunch with couple of friends whom I have not caught up with in ages. It was nice.

Today I had some more stiffness in neck, but still did the exercises. Took my car to the shop. Seems the axle broke just as we got it there. It has been getting there for a while but I wasn't aware of it until this past Tuesday. Helped hubby (not that he needed it, just wanted to spend time with him) do an oil change on the Expedition. Read a book. Also went to the Jewish bakery and bought 5 loaves of bread, 3 dozen bagels and some onion rolls. Had to make a WalMart run. Took MIL to get her blood work done and now here I am for a short time.

I did get dropped off about a mile from home and then walked back. In a group of shops, an older woman rounded the corner and saw me, and jumped sideways in a kangaroo way to her right.

I think the cane scared her. I have quite a bit of vision left in my left eye, and can see more in daytime, but I just ignored her so she wouldn't be embarrassed.

But I have been laughing off and on ever since I arrived home.

Is your cane a light saber or something?

I spent the last hour crying.

I want my daddy.

Just a standard 56 inch Ambutech cane.

Why do you want your father?

ugh: total coincidence: My dad is in Monterey for cancer treatments and his gf just sent a text from Vegas asking if I wanted to fly out and spend time with her this weekend. While retail therapy sounds like a nice distraction for hurt feelings, I'd rather hang out with my dad and eat In-N-Out Burger. I don't know why he likes her.

Hopefully your dad will be ok. And as for the girlfriend, I certainly have no answer.

I often wonder about things like that.

Thank you. I hope so, too. I sent a text asking what he was doing and he said he was in Monterrey (boo- I wanted to visit w/him) and then *mysteriously* his gf texted me 3 minutes later asking if I wanted to fly out to Vegas (where she lives). She said it was "her treat".

My dad isn't bright if he thinks that's a fair replacement!

I guess she's a nice lady and all, but I happen to LIKE my stepmom, even if they are getting a divorce. *grumbles*

Actually...she's twenty years younger and stick thin... I think I just figured it out.

Gee - reading that makes me miss my father a bunch. Hubby and my kids never got to meet him. He had a massive heart attack (first one) and died within 2 minutes. He was telling my mother that he felt slightly dizzy and had a headache and wanted a glass of water. She got up from the bed (they were watching PBS and some opera) and went into the bathroom to fill a cup with water. When she got back to the room he was dead. He knew he had heart trouble, but he never let my mother or any of the family know. He was just 60 when he died.

I'm sorry. My dad just had a heart attack. Luckily, (?) he was in the hospital when it happened!

I bought auto insurance, policy is in effect as of midnight tonight, I set it up to have it auto-withdrawn from my bank account on the 1st of every month. I also found out a way to get a number on my own contract account with Verizon, but I will have to wait until September. I also went to work, filled up my petrol tank ($65.00) and bought takeout for dinner tonight at my mom's request. I actually thought about grilling deer burgers on the grill tonight as the weather was PERFECT, but mom said no. =(

Good on your, Juli, for donating.

That reminds me, I must get around to making an appt with Red Cross to donate either blood, plasma or platelets.

I did NOTHING worthy today. Except drop off a car that has been sitting at my house. It belongs to my friend who is overseas so we dropped it off at his mom's house so she can use it as her vehicle broke down.

All in all, not a whole heck of a lot. We took Expedition in for the motor to be replaced for the wipers, that's done, but now there is a switch problem and he's not sure if he can fix it or not. I went to WalMart again (yes, each day this week I have been there) and got hubby some new t-shirts and such. Did some more repeat deep cleaning for MIL (the B**ch) and read for a while.

Sometime when I talk to my wife, she asked me "What's wrong?" I said, "It's BB".
