self-explanatory title. do tell us all - either boring or interesting story.

woke up. went gun-shopping with my friend cuz she wanted to buy one. afterward - went to coin-operated self-carwash near my home because my truck doesn't fit in most car washes and I needed the one that can wash the undercarriage due to snow salt. I found out about that carwash last nite. Word of mouth is that it's good one. $3 for 4 minutes. 24/7.

Woke up to pancakes and coffee this morning. Watched a movie, went to town for takeout at Taco Bell, came home then watched Dr. Phil with mom, then watched Ellen. I later fiddled on FB, chatted with a friend on MSN, then chatted with an old friend I've not seen in ages. I also found out one of my childhood friend's dad has passed away. This makes the 2nd death in 2 days that have been friends. I feel sad but I know their families are hurting way worse than I am and I'm just thinking of them during their time of loss.

I got up at about 10:30. My husband pointed me to my phone where I had three increasingly irritated texts from my older daughter who is on school break, the last one consisting of "Are you ignoring me???". Straightened that mess out and went to lunch with my husband and said daughter at our favorite Chinese restaurant.

Visited Penzey's spice store so my husband could spend his holiday gift certificate, where he was surprised to find that lemon peel comes in a powedered variety.

Then on to the Half Price book store where we spent Christmas gift money to buy two calendars, a book on food allergies for my husband, and an antique (sort of, 1964 date) sign language book for me Talk With Your Hands by David O Wilson.

Then home where played Fairytale Fights on PS3 with my daughter. Then read and surfed internet. At about 4 my younger daughter came and picked up my older daughter so she could act as a babysitter for said younger daughter's two children.

Went to Village Inn and ate dinner and free pie.

Came home , watched TV, looked for anything of interest on AD, husband baked gingerbread.

Soon will go to bed and read.

Did you actually want to know all that???

Yesterday my dog was caught with my smartphone under the coffee-table. He removed nine keys from it. Could only find two of nine. It still worked if I use a chopstick. Went to my carrier's approved repair shop to replace the keypad, paid $56.

Came back home, let the dog out, went back in. Decided to take a piss, set the BlackBerry on the coffee-table. Went to free willy. Saw the dog trashing all over the place. He removed thirteen keys from the pad-- found all thirteen. I wasn't even home ten minutes and he did the same thing.

It's weird, he's not interested in chewing the BlackBerry. He's more interested in making the keys pop.

Place the phone well out of the dogs reach (this includes jump-reach). If you have a tall shelf that will work perfectly.

I went to the liquor store and picked up a bottle of Jagermeister and a 12 pack of Red Bull for Friday night. I don't expect to remember much of that night. It was an interesting visit because the girl behind the register gave me $29 bucks in change when she only owed me $9 bucks. I couldn't keep the extra 20 cause I am not that shady. First time something like that has happened to me.

Yeah. Just new habits need to be formed. It took me awhile to put things at coffeetable heights because of the ferret. Just need to put them somewhere higher than...

How high can a 13" tall, 20-35lbs dog jump?

Less high than a 13 inch tall cat.

What kind of dog

A coyote-dachshund cross.

No, wait... a corgi-German shepherd cross.

Nah, pulling your leg, he's Swedish Vallhund.

Oooo, first time an ADer didn't take my non-serious question seriously without having to drop sarcasm. Well, jillio is pretty good at catching them, but I gotta hype up something?

Botts wins a medal.

This thread is worthwhile after all!!

Today I was at 5:39am talking on the phone with a friend of mine whom I hadn't seen in over a week cause of different working schedules. My mom woke up and tripped over a book box my sister has in the hall; the noise it made scared the hell outta me. Slept.

Around 11:15am my sister wakes me up asking me if I could take her someplace in Rio Piedras for her to take the public bus to the other side of the island to visit a friend. I bitched cause I was still sleepy and told her to wake me later. She did an hour later. Took her there. Got back home, showered, picked up my brother who's visiting for the winter holidays and went to another friends house to visit her for the first time since I met her over the net around March.

We hung out, we had fun, we had to leave around 7:20pm, we went to Sizzler for dinner then to Borders around 9:00pm, dropped him off then back home at 10pm :)

I have been around a lot of dogs but I have never heard of that one. After looking it up I am going to add the breed to the list of potential dogs that I want to get when my current dog is no longer around.

Only reason why I picked him is because the breeder isn't an elitist asshole.

It was a close call between a Mallinos, a Shetland, a Pembroke Corgi and an Australian Cattle Dog (blue heeler strain.)

I woke up at 745am this morning and left my house at 8am, to batesmans bay town takes me around 30 - 40 mins drive, my friend from Canberra arrived just 5 mins before me, which came to good timing. We went to a small local cafe for breakfast, I had Egg Benedict and Mocha - it was not too shabby, then we went for a walk around the shopping mall, checking out prices on small LCD Televisions, and went for a walk on the back track of the town, which is right next to the batesmans bay River, we could see the bridge full of traffic ( this is a norm during the summer ) and stopped at another cafe for a coffee break, it was good, then walked back to Maccas where we parked our cars, we could see the underground park filling fast at 11am.

Returned to my place in Tuross, showed my friend around, went for a walk around the area and the beach and we decided to have lunch at the Tuross Boatshed, we had to wait for the fish and ships for 30 mins as it was a busy day there, afterwards we went to the tuross beach where we caught a couple of good waves and swam for a while, and had ice cream before my friend heads home before his wife finishes work. It was a good day and the weather was great, I got some sunburnt around my back of my neck and bad blisters on my feet from yesterday :aw: That's about it.
