I'm trying to gloss the song "It's Not Over" By Daughtry. But I'm already having trouble with the first line... Can someone please help me out?

when sign singing don't think in exact english. first line would be your expressing shock and awe in signs- sorta like your brains blowing up. ASL is not exact english. play with it, use the idea behind the song, interpret what the song says to you.

I agree with you PFH. I can't seem to grasp glossing. To me it doesn't remotely look like ASL.

See, I had to sign a song last semester. Coming on here and asking people to do it for you, isn't the answer. Of course, that was my initial first thought. But you should really take the time to figure it out for yourself to be honest. I really had NO help at all when it came to doing the song I ended up choosing. I didn't even have feedback from my teacher, and I only missed one thing. But, my advice would be to sit down, and think about the meaning of the lyrics. Different word choices for certain words..... For instance, a sentence from the song I chose, "Can we get away, far away?"... I signed it as "CAN WE ESCAPE, ESCAPE FAR?".... It's all in the choices of words and signs. Just sayin'.
