I think that can be frustrating for you and people of your type. They often feel they need to be the "pillar of strength" and they are seen that way by those around them. It can become somewhat of a pressure to remain strong and assertive so often that they don't trust others to give them "control" by showing their emotions. They also don't want to let those they love down. Eights value loyalty a lot as well.

We are the same type! How interesting! I actually have never met someone who was a confirmed 5 before. I'd be interested to hear what your motivations are and how they affect your life. Although, as a five, that might be an intrusive question. We really value our privacy!

Ohhhh, I see. Perhaps you are not a type 5 then. The reason I make this point is because the enneagram is based on motivation rather than behavior. Type 5s are actually very sensitive and to cope with this, they detach themselves. A lot of the tests to determine type focus on behavior rather than motive. However, if you relate to the description, its ultimately your choice on what type you are.

I learned that now is probably the best time to try to get some deals on Carhartt's. I need some for work.

I learned that even though MIL says she is broke and has no money, she somehow has enough to buy a crap-load of stuff from her catalogs. She had 10 boxes delivered today and spent another couple of hundred dollars todays as well.

Two weeks ago, my husband spent over $400 on groceries. My brother is our other child and he is expensive to feed.

I doubt it as the customer had two boys with her, but who knows.

The parking fees are just ridicilous.
Montly parking pass - $250 (compared to $80 at the airport)
some parking spots $9 for 4 hours limit. (compared to $5.50 a day at the mutli-level carpark)
multi-level carpark attached to the shopping mall - $16 all day
Nearby car parks near work $9 a day, and $7 a day compared to $5.50 a day at the airport.

That is, I am walking to work from barton (across the lake and two bridges) because the carpark near the National Library of Australia is designed for tourists, and it is free. I don't give a damn about the tourists. There is like, 200 free spaces available. :/

Damn that's expensive. Smart move to park in the tourist area. Let's just hope they don't decide to start charging parking fees there too. Added benefit is you get your exercise built right into your daily routine.

I learned that the egg truck will now be coming 2x a week rather than weekly as before. We are now at 27% laying expectancy. My house went up 600+ eggs today from yesterday. I suspect by spring we will be near 100% if we keep going like this.

Yeah and I usually ride my bike from there to work to cut the time getting there, unfortunately, only few days ago...my back tire has gone flat again, for the second time... it needs repairs. :/
It is me walking, after all and the excercise will do me good as I have already gained a bit of weight (I am now almost 70kg from 55)

I just learned a friend of mine rolled a big rig this morning near Gravesville. He's alright though. He said his boss told him he still has a job, but I'm guessing he will be off trucking duty for a while. :/
