That's kind of like my favorite word if I don't know something.

It's a cross between an elephant and a rhino, otherwise known as an "elephino" or "hell if I know"

I would almost go, but if you're not feeling too well, it might be better to not go.

I know that feeling. I live in mother-in-law's house with my mother, my MIL, my hubby and our 2 teens. All in 3 bedrooms. MIL did not want to make room for us, so each of the bedrooms have her clothes and stuff in it. I still have 90% of all of my belonging from our home in Missouri still packed up in the garage. I have to wait for MIL to die before I get to have my things out. And my mother is going through beginning stages of dementia and driving me nuts!!! I know I need to understand what she's going through, but when I try to talk to the doctor about my concerns, she starts yelling that I am lying and making her out to be worse than she is. It makes me want to video tape a day or two at home and show it to her and the doctor just to prove my point. He won't giver her any meds to help since she has liver failure as well.

Now I have to put up with a "rootin-tootin" hubby for the night. Gawd!!! Give me the air freshener!!!

Try living with a father that shows early stages of Alzheimer's Disease (forgetfulness, loss of some memories) and a mother that shows the common signs and symptoms of Bi-Polar with rapid cycling as her mood will change at the drop of a hat for no apparent reason. Sometimes I wish I had a million dollars just so I could buy a house in a far away land and move there, just me and my daughter.

Oh boy!!! Maybe we just need to send all the parents who are having issues and put them together. Not talking about any of the grandparents here on AD.!!!

They would probably be happy. They could talk together about all their common concerns.
