Food assistance - no income requirement

The economy is bad and many people are struggling right now (see the I'm broke thread).

Here's a program that provides food assistance without any income requirements:

Welcome*- Angel Food Ministries

It's a way to stretch your food budget. You order and pick up the box. You can find a location by zip code.

If you're not in financial distress, you may use the service and use the savings to help someone who is struggling. I hope that this helps someone.

Hubby and I use Red Cross to help us with food because financially we both fall under the poverty line. We receive weekly food assistance and they are very helpful for us.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, just a sad fact of life.
