My fiery temper and my stubbornness.
Materials I don't hang on to them but for my temper & my stubborn trait, I'd love to let them go. The stubborn part of me won't let it go!

I grew up in foster homes - nothing was ever kept - no childhood photos, no special toys, no treasures - EXCEPT one - I don't know how I managed to keep it - but I have a wooden nickle that was given to me when I was five years old. The Queen of England visited London, Ontario in 1955 and wooden nickles were given out - I still have that nickle - 53 years later.

I have a variety of things from my childhood. I have the knick knacks my mother kept on a dresser in my nursery, a pair of my baby shoes, a stuffed dog that was given to me by one of the nurses when I was in the hospital for my first eye surgery, a Brailled Speak 'n Spell that my mother bought me for my 11th birthday, a Brailled Rubik's Cube that my mother bought me for Christmas, a wooden breadbox that I made in 7th grade, the 45s I collected from age 11-18, poetry that I wrote from 7th-12th grade and all of my college research papers.

My mum has a box full of mine and Jen's baby clothes from scbu and she even has our first certificates for breathing without oxygen and she even has our baby bracelets which she got engraved with our names because we was totally identical as babies. Mine has my first name and my middle name. Its sooo tiny and cutee. She even has our hospital bracelts. Also a video that she filmed of us the first day we was born when we was all still at our home hospital all together

Teddy Bear, my grandma made for me. Quilt spread, my grandma made for me. Big old doll I put in shed, I got it from my other grandparents. I think that is about it.

oh yes, lots of things! My pink blanket, which I've had since I was a baby and dragged EVERYWHERE with me for years as a kid (it's in my bedroom closet now), my stuffed Garfield that I've had since I was a baby, and some other stuff. Lots of clothes/dresses my grandma made, we still have all of them. we're packrats like that.
