Wanted to wish you guys Happy Memorial Day weekend. Be safe and to remember and thank all the veterans who served our country in the armed foreces.

Thread will be sticky until the end of Memorial Day. Have fun and be safe wherever you go. ;)

I wish you and family a Happy Memorial Day.

I will have free on Memorial Day (US public holiday) tomorrow.
 
I am off on Memorial Day.

I will be spending this weekend trying to move in between the rain. :(

But on the other hand, it is nice seeing this post, as I am talking to my Brother in Iraq.

This day is in remembrance of the Veterans, that has died for our country.

:ty: Calvin for the reminder. A lot of people think of Memorial Day of just being a day off, and to have a BBQ , not knowing the true meaning of this upcoming holiday.

You're welcome, yes that is true.. people should take a few hours to commend our troops and remember our veterans who fought and defend our country. I salute to all troops and veterans of all wars and thank them for protecting our country.

I hope your brother keep safe in Iraq and come home in one piece. :)
 
Ahh it urs on this weekend and u called it Memorial day. We have ours on 25th April and called it ANZAC day to honour and remember our war veterans and for those who fought in the Gallipoli war back in 1915.
Interesting to see that each country have a special day to celebrate all for the same reasons so wish u all the best and enjoy and embrace that day.
Without those men who fought the wars we wouldn't be here today.
 
I will be working on Memorial day with my dad, I haven't got Memorial day off in a long time, not that I'm complaining. Happy Memorial Day everyone. ;)

Salute for all the troops Militarys, Armys, Marines, Air force, and Veterns who are/were honored and very heroic! Thanking them for standing up for our America and our families & friends.

Thank you to my best friend who is an Army in Iraq for protecting us in the country.... :)

We'll have cook out tomorrow then poker game! WHOO! Can't wait to enjoy the day tomorrow! :)

Have a good Memorial day weekend everyone! Be safe out there and buckle up! I am not quite sure, what I am doing yet. I know for sure , sleep in and don't have to wake up to an alarm clock just enjoy my weekend :)
 
I don't know what countries celebrate their particular memorial days, but my thoughts go out to all who have fought honorably for their country.
