I know he has done that to me when I was in a heated debate. He'd PM to egg the members only to contribute negatively.

I'm just looking at this outside the box.

Byrdie fits this criteria- "Narcissistic personality disorder"

****ing hell, id say this is a good description, pretty spot-on, but I dont know shit about psychology to be able to vouch for it, but as for me, id say its a good guess

Right. I was just wondering, since this the ISP # was one of the tip off points for CandyBrownEyes if the Mods would be confirming who is who and how related if they have the same ISP #.
Not a problem for those of us with more than one family member a member here but just wondering.

Too bad the Mods have to police a bunch of adults

That's why they should leave things as it is.. when a situation comes up, they will take care of it.. just like they did with Byrdie. Even if Byrdie have multiple accounts doesn't mean he should be banned for it. What he should be banned for is hurting the members..That's where the Mod should focus on.

Well - if you recall... byrdie was cheerful and humorous in an agreeable way until naisho/jillio fiasco. Since then - his posts to any other threads were erratic and somewhat bitter. Remember the thread he created - "Dear Alex"? and remember some of the bitter threads that he created which got locked/deleted?

That is what I pieced together so far to understand his ulterior motive behind this cruel prank. His intention was probably to tear AD community apart as he knows handful of ADers are emotionally sensitive. As the result of this prank - some of ADers are leaving AD. His bitterness is most likely targeted toward to Alex and nobody else.

This has been a trying days for us all. Do not let him win. Stay strong.

your question is best left unanswered. I think Candybrowneyes' post is quite sufficient enough for us. AD has been around for several years. Alex has his share of all kinds of internet ****-ups. He knows what he's doing. So do mods.

Shit happens but mods did their damnest to control & contain this situation swiftly enough to prevent it from tearing AD community apart. Fortunately enough - the damage was minimal.... even though many of us are shocked and furious about what just happened.

Like I said - do not let that bastard win. Stay strong and stick together

Really? That is sad.

I thought the whole thing was showing how most community members were sticking it out and sticking together. The ones who have been here a long time and those of us who are still pretty new here seemed to be a united front to me. Perhaps I was wrong to think I observed that.

No one can try to tear AD community apart, we are too close knitted to be ripped up apart. We have done pretty good observing on what's really going on. We are like one big family as well. Many things have happened in the past but we are still here, but of course we lost a few good members.

You MAY be right, he may be one of our former member and was forever banned from here and he may try revenge on Alex for permanent ban him/her.

IF that is what his/her motivation, then we should not let him/her win

I really feel bad for you, Jillio

Yes, I remember his posts at 2 years where we were there to defend Bear and her son against his nasty posts and doubt him as a former lawyer....

How to solve courtroom injustice?

What do you agree that Sex-offender parents pose dilemma for schools?

Yes, Frisky, it is. Only those that are not in public view are those that are member-only areas.

Amazing how effective moderators working together can make a site run smoothly. Just shows how easy it is to create false personnas on the Internet. Well, back to our regularly scheduled postings.

For Jillio's defense, I found something:

How to solve courtroom injustice?

To Byrdie, you quite obviously are NOT a defense attorney, and never have been. Quite obviously, you are not an attorney in any way, shape, or form. You haven't got a clue.

Here is the picture of you that is becoming clear.....you are a young, gay man who may or may not be a manager of beach cottages and does maintenace work on those cottages. Chances are, you are simply a handyman, and not manager at all.

You have never even attended college, much less earned a "law degree" as you put it. Everything you write paints a picture of a very young, very immature, very naive individual. You have extremely low self esteem, and tell lies to try to make yourself appear to be more than what you believe you are.

You need to seek therapy to help you with these issues of low self esteem and pathological lying. There is help for you.

Your lack of empathy is simply projection. You feel that no one has ever shown you empathy, so you project that back on others whenever you get the chance. But it isn't working, Byrdie. While it may be your choice of coping mechanism, in reality, it doesn't make you feel any better, now does it? It causes people to draw away from you, when what you really want is to draw people to you.

The way to make friends is to be yourself, treat others the way you want to be treated, and to be honest. You don't impress anyone by fabricating all of these fantasies about your life. It just doesn't work. Get some help with your issues.

I say this not as a criticism, but out of concern for you. You are showing some very disturbing signs of mental and emotional problems, and your belief that others buy into the picture you are trying to paint is typical of these disturbances.

Click on the little blue arrow in the quote to be streamed to the post in the thread.

Yeah I think they are doing a great job effectively as a team and as our friends. It shows us that they actually care. Nevertheless to say they are the best Mods I have ever see.

And Jillio, I have never doubted you the moment I walked into AD since our debate thread involving a teacher who lose her hearing. I admire you explianing to AD'ers about the situation and I am sorry that you have been victimized by Byrdie and so have we.
