I am thinking why is it that when my mom is here, she buys a lot of chips and junk food making me pig out when I was doing so good for so long with my diet and exercise!

Ha ha.. The same can be said for when I visit my family... Thank goodness this year we may not be having any Smithfield hams for Easter. I love them but they're so high in fat!

I am thinking about....that I do not understand what is being asked here. Starting a topic is simple enough. The rest of this post is what I am not sure about. If outsiders are getting info from AD and spamming/scamming you, perhaps you should reduce your personal profile here to bare minimum. I have not had problems with this, but have heard others with the same issues.

Now back to what I had planned to mention: I am gonna wash my car tomorrow. Has been a long winter. Tomorrow is going to be mid 50's, which is a great temperature for this type of chore. I need to do inside and out. We need rain, so I will provide the impetus for a shower to drift overhead soon.

Yep, that's a sure fire way to bring the rain on! Either wash your car, or wash the windows!

I can only wash my car on Wednesday or Saturday. Due to the water restrictions!

Thinking, if I wash my car tomorrow..... will it rain?

Exactly! I agree with her 100%! I just can't get past the smell. But the fresh stuff doesn't smell like that and is soooo delicious!

To start a new topic, go to the area most appropriate for the thread you are starting. Since you are looking for ways to make your profile more private, I would go to "How to use the AllDeaf forum" or "General" areas. After you select that part, there is an icon named "New Thread" near the top left side. When you select it, there will be a box very similar to what you see when you reply to a topic, except you need to create a subject (thread) title. After you create the title, go ahead and post your comments or questions in the bigger box, same as regular posting. When you are finished, click "Submit new thread" icon and you will have started a thread. Maybe, to answer the other part of your query, that would be a good starting point; then myself and others can offer tips to keep your profile more private. Give it a try!
