i also like using a fanny pack to carry small items in. it's very convenient and you don't have to worry about accidentally forgetting or misplacing it. i also feel more secure as a woman since i'm less likely to be attacked carrying a fanny pack than i am a purse.

Yes, I have a cold or something. I had a stupid doctor last time I was at urgent care, so I didn't exactly catch everything he said. Yes, I have a dry throat, dry cough. Thanks for the suggestion If I have an opportunity, I'll pick some up! I live a long way from the city, so I don't take the drive often unless I have to. There is nothing near me except farms.

The party isn't over yet, but I found I had a minute. Gotta go!

Yeah Hear Again, that's what I got from Wal-Green, but I got the one that controls the cough, I also got NyQuil for during the night time, that would definitely knock me out.

Why do I need robitussin? My throats fine, but I may forward the package to SimplyMints when it arrives, she needs it more than I do currently. LOL

I just submitted my paper and it got logged into the system at 12:03 GGRRR, thats 10 points deducted right there. Oh well, I should have the grade and notes back from the instructor on Friday then I will have until the 10th to submit a final draft. Given my last minute rush - I would consider this rough draft a 'C' paper which is atypical of my usual A's and B's in the previous assignments, irritating yes due to getting writer's bloc at the worst possible time, but I somehow managed to go from 2 pages to 8 pages in about 4 hours, it another hour to get the citations and formatting checked as I lost my headers and I had to refigure out how to insert those. Unfortunately it isnt the exact right formatting as every page has my last name and a 1 behind it when there should be a number in numerical order after my last name on every page. BTW I am using OpenOffice, so if anyone can tell me how to fix the header problem with that program let me know. Until next time Im going for a smoke on the john then Im going to bed. I have to be up at 4:30. Lord Im gonna need 2 black jax in the morning plus a cup of coffee.

By the time I get it, I'll be well

I'm an hour past my bed time, and this party is still going on.

On second thought, maybe I won't be well. I need my sleep to get well.

i think this robitussin is impairing my ability to think. then again, i'm on way too many d*mn meds.

i'm glad you were finally able to submit your paper. good luck and let us know how you do.

LOL I'd love to if everybody would just leave! It looks like they're getting ready to go. (whew!) Just taking their time about it.

Do I seem any different talking without a brain? Probably not, huh? Being on medication and being tired probably has the same effect as far as outward appearance goes.

I certainly will! Although I hope I can sleep because I need to get well. I feel like a leach living off my parents while I'm sick.

I forgot to mention something weird that happened tonight while we were eating. My dad was opening a bottle of something, and it was under too much pressure and sprayed all over my brother in law. We all started laughing, and I was laughing really hard. While I was laughing, I suddenly heard an incredibly loud POP in my right ear that felt like it shook my entire head, followed by a high-frequency sound that took about a second to increase out of audible range. The sound caused me to jump and drop my knife and put my hand over my ear. There was no pain, and I heard no more sounds after that, so I went back to eating and stuff.

Do you suppose something actually happened inside my head, or was it just my brain again trying to give me a heart attack?

i hope you feel better soon. how long have you been sick?

i've had my uri since the day after thanksgiving and the day before thanksgiving i had the flu.

i normally don't get sick often (once every year, if that), but i'm telling you...i'm definitely paying the price for being well for as long as i have. i don't know about you, but when i get sick, i get sick BIG TIME and it hits me HARD.

i'm wondering if there wasn't some pressure that built up in your right ear while you were laughing and that's what caused the pop and high frequency sound you heard.

I think I've been sick for a week or two, not sure. I don't normally get sick that often, but this year, it seems like I've been sick almost constantly.

About hearing the pop, that was confusing because I thought I had no hearing.

Well, I do think I'm about to fall asleep, so I better go to bed

I hope you're feeling better soon, and everybody else who is sick! There seems to be a lot of us!

what's causing the high frequency sound you heard is your brain. the fact that you're totally deaf and have no residual hearing has nothing to do with your ability to hear that sound. totally deaf people can also experience tinnitus since tinnitus has nothing to do with the physical ability to hear.

thanks for your well wishes. hopefully i only have 4 more days to go before this thing clears up...

hope you feel better soon!

i agree. believe it or not, i still like alot of the clothes from the 80s. it would be great if 80s fashion came back into style like it did in the 90s.

I actually saw Aidan Mack at Panera near my home! I didn't say hi because I wasn't sure if it was her or not but damn... the daughter of her friend was cute! VERY cute! Her mother is deaf and her daughter is hearing. I just left a message on her FB and she confirmed that she was there. dang it
