It's definitely a scam.

There are so many points that you can read between the lines to recognize it as a scam. Grammar is one of the point, and like many others said, by getting your personal information is another point.

If all those information does not add it all up, then you know it is a scam. Most of the time when you see things that are too good to be true, you know it is not the case.

I thought that's what you meant, but don't worry, I take it easy, just playing. I know I'm still new here, and I have a lot of people to get to know, and it's hard for people to get to know me while I'm changing so much. (I hope people will some day because I really want a name sign, and I hope it doesn't have anything to do with rambling)

You probably lived in the GHETTO.

I know, cause I did have a 1 bedroom place for $360 a month with EVERYTHING included except cable, and it was in the worst GHETTO of Milwaukee (North 26th and Wells). This was in 1999.

Of course it is a fucking scam. If you can't recognize it as a scam, then you are most likely stupid.

Ever heard of Eastgate in Walla Walla? Probably not. Most people haven't unless they've lived here, but in case somebody else has, they can back me up. Definitely not the ghetto. There is a ghetto in Walla Walla, but no way in hell would I be caught living there. Too much crime, ugly as sin, scare the crap out of me just to go outside, and I'd always be afraid my roof is about to cave in on me. I lived in a scary building like all the homes there before, but this was in Boise, ID. The longer I lived there, the less afraid I was that the roof would cave in on me, and the more afraid I was that the neighbours would shoot me through the paper-thin wall between us, and I knew they had a loaded gun, and they were the c... oh, sorry, I'll stop, or my name sign will be OT (off topic) or something to do with rambling.

26th and Wells? That's the ghetto allright. That neighborhood is ten times worse today.

So people are having a hard time getting to know me because of that. I'm having a hard time getting to know myself even. I'm figuring things out though. Just taking a bit of time, that's all.

I bet, and I'm not surprised. I haven't been back to visit Milwaukee since 2004 or 2005. I only lived in that apartment for about ten months, and then I moved out because my ex was physically abusing me.

Yeah...When I first moved out with my boyfriend, I wanted to live on 19th and Greenfield because there was an upper duplex available for only $250/month. Once I mentioned this to my parents, they told me how dangerous that neighborhood was. I didn't know anything about the city (how neighborhoods east of 59th and National or west of Wisconsin Ave. were unsafe to be in). Now that I've lived on my own for many years, I'm familiar with the city and what places I should avoid.

This was back in 1989 and was in a neighborhood people used to call "Little Mexico" since it had a high concentration of Hispanics and Latinos. When I went apartment hunting in 1994, it was easy to find a studio apartment in the suburbs for $300-$400/month -- and they were all in decent neighborhoods. However, I don't know if that's the case today.

If you get into an isolated city or a smaller town out in the country, the prices go down a lot compared to the better known cities around the country. At least that's the way it was a few years ago. The places are far from dumps. They're nice places. Scammers ... I can't think of anything more to say about scammers, so I'm gonna stop now.

The suburb where I found studio apartments for $300-$400/month had a population of 61,000 and was located 10 miles from downtown Milwaukee.

As for how nice these studios are, I think that largely depends on the city or town. For example, in the suburb where I found studios for $300-$400/month, they left alot to be desired because of old carpeting, bad plumbing and old windows that allowed too much wind in causing higher heating bills.

I have no doubt that there are nice studios out there. I just haven't been able to find any where I live.

The duplex I mentioned for $250/month was actually a really nice home. Most of the homes in that area were built well, but the violence in the surrounding neighborhood was one of the reasons why rent was so inexpensive.

I always imagine scammers live in ghettos because they're too fricken stupid to go to university and get themselves respectable careers. There, did I tie it back in?

Ah, 19th and Greenfield...the south side. I used to live right around there with a friend when I was 13, before I went into foster care. Not a very good neighborhood. Lots of gangs.

That's exactly why my parents didn't want me to live there. Instead, I ended up moving to 77th and Waterford (Milwaukee/Greenfield border).

Always a pleasure

Um .. trying to rescue thread .. .. Yeah, what most people have said, mark this scammer's address as SPAM or JUNK. If you're using a client, I recommend switching to web-based Gmail, which as a great system for dealing with spam once you learn how to use it properly and it gets to know you. You can have your mail sent to that box from your old email address, or tell your friends and business you've changed your email address. Scammers and spammers really like Yahoo for some reason, so I've had to learn to stay away from that because of that, and it has worked really well.
