2003 Space shuttle diaster

Do you remember this in 2003? It was 5 years ago. Did you, texans, see this incident? What was your shocking experience? I read this in the international morning newspaper and it was when I was in grade 10

She would have been the first teacher in space but unfortunately the explosion of the Challenger shattered that dream

I remember about the Challenger wreck, we (the class) were watching it taking off on live and saw some of the wreck.

Back in 1986, when my wife was working for Department of Defense and her job was Quality Control Inspection on any aerospace that including space shuttle parts to make sure that all parts are not defective or imperfection. In that one week before the space shuttle was exploded and she quit her job due to stress out from her job and my mother's infere our marriage that time !!!!!!

Very sad. I have pictures of discovery and coloumbia when they landed at the AFB when I worked there. Never forgot 86, worst feeling and everyone was quiet because one of the astrount's nephew was with us when it happened. I remember he was shocked and disbelieve of what was happened.

I remember both of them. I was at Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the Challenger lift-off. Very Chilling!!! I was also at the dedication for the school for Christa McAulliff. The one in 2003, I was here in Missouri and watch in horror the television.

I couldn't either. It was my birthday the day Challenger blew up and ironically, I was having lunch in Gracie at the time!

I was on the far right side of Gracies when you stand at the windows facing the food area. I remember it just like I was there yesterday. Sad.

I don't remember where I was when the Columbia broke up in the air. However, I do remember the 9-11 attacks at work and a couple things. I will never forget the shock on my guy's face when he walked in the door at the very time they replayed the second plane flying into the twin towers. He heard about it but never saw TV til that very moment. Horrible. Sorry off topic.

Back to the shuttles.....RIP astronuts in both shuttles.
