gahh..help me w/ homecoming dress??

all my friends in the band wants me to go to homecoming that is this week on saturday at 8pm-11pm at school. and the thing is i haven't bought a dress. and At first i didn't really wanted to go to homecoming because of my ex-crush who is going with another girl and appearently that girl is his girlfriend as i found out.grr.. anyways. the homecoming theme is Titanic and I need to find a good dress that fits the theme. ANd it can't be anything expensive. Maybe around 60 dollars or so. I was thinking abt going to JCPenny's for homecoming dresses. But i would like to see u guys show me some pics and give me a few ideas to the theme of the homecoming. it would be great. now i gotta hurry and get to bed. I'll check on comments later after school tomorrow when i'm not so busy. thanks!!!!!!!!!!! :D
 
I have not seen pictures of you and have no idea what dress/gowns would look good on you. Maybe you can get the sales girls to help you with that? :)

all three are perfect for the homecoming titanic theme looks. but i think number 3 that's nice dress.

i don't know what color you likes and i don't know how long or short dress u want. i guess that's my suggestion.

Homecoming is similar to the Formal thing in Australia........I think.
 
Apparently, it's not.

Formal = Prom.

We don't have anything similar to Homecoming - we dont have zillions of high school sports happening in one whole week LOL!

Gosh.. Australia is starting to sound boring :P
 
[shrug] homecoming.. i look back in my times. sheesh.. girls... dances.. kisses...party... dirty dances...what a night.

wow, these dresses are like perfect!!! I was actually thinking about getting a black dress for the homecoming or something vintage to the homecoming dance. And I bought my homecoming ticket today at school, they were 10 dollars per person. And my friend whose is a sophmore and is playing the flute in the marching band (shes hearing btw) found out i had a 10 dollar bill to buy the homecoming ticket and she was like: "go buy the ticket now, go buy it freshman!! You're required to go to the homecoming." and I'm like: "but i don't have a homecoming dress yet!!" ANd she replied: "well go buy one on saturday while the day is still shining. Go buy a ticket." So i guess she wanted me to go to homecoming. And it's pretty nice that someone wants me to go. I never had a friend wanting me to go to something before. ANyways back to the dresses.. I think these dresses are perfect!!!!!!!!! It's gonna be so hard to choose...I'll be right back soon, i have dinner then band rehersal..keep it coming!!! :D:D
 
You can try go to Salvation Army, Goodwill, VOA, etc....you could find many varieties of dresses for reasonable prices.

BUT it is your choice to choose! Good luck! And have fun!

oh, good i'm glad that you like these dresses from the jcpenney picture. you'll have fun at the homecoming, it's your chance to have experience in your life. you can try them on at jcpenney store and to see how it looks on you. if you don't like it then pick another one. let's say take 4 or 5 dresses to try on in the fitting room. have someone come with you. black color looks good on anyone.

have fun with your friends for the homecoming :)
