That's beautiful! I love the pavers.

Pretty close.

Anyways, I noticed that you have what looks like a wood board on the side of your driveway. Am I right?
Which side? I don't have a wood board, so I'm trying to figure out what you're referring to.

On the left, that your SUV is parked on... looked like wood. Perhaps, bricks or stones?

Oh, that's natural cypress mulch. I park on a "hump" where we used to have a tree. It's now a mulched area, like our flower beds. But no flowers in my parking spot. Just the mulch with a border of monkey grass, and my "Jeep parking only--all others will be crushed" sign.

Perhaps, there were a lot of cars at the house?

I had a similar experience at my old house in Rochester. The driveway was big enough to hold 4 cars. There were 4 of us living in the house. However, one roommate had a car and a SUV. He also had a boat. So, we ended up putting one in the garage and one on the grass next to the garage.

See above post for the description.

Hubby parks his work van and his Jeep in our garage. If I park on the driveway behind his vehicles, we would have to do a constant shuffling of vehicles to get in and out because we work such weird schedules. So it's easier if I park on the side, out of the way.

We thought about paving it before, maybe brick but one day when I had the Jeep parked on the hump my daughter saw it and said that's the way a Jeep should be parked, uphill, on a natural material. So instead of paving over it, I embraced it. Hubby got me the sign, and now I have my own special place.

If we had boulders here in SC, I'd get one for parking. Alas, there are no natural rocks here.

My driveway is shared with another resident who live at the back of my place but i do have a huge space to park my car closer to my house.as it is shaped like a big L. I can park three cars on my space and the driveway can park another four cars up toward the house in the back. Luckily live off a quiet street so easy to back out off. Unfortunately no garage

Interesting. That sounds suitable for a Jeep.
