Yup, I am a pretty typical cancer. My sun (personality/purpose in life/strongest influence in your life) is in cancer, my moon (emotions, children, home, family)in taurus, mercury (way you think and communicate) in leo, venus (love life emtions, sex life, passions) in gemini, mars (physical energy, leadership expression, anger, agression) in cancer, jupiter (luck and how you make your luck) in cancer, saturn (work and career, physical problems) in pisces, uranus (higher concepts for humanity) in virgo, neptune (problem this life, spiritual beleifs and values, psychic ability) in scorpio pluto (transformation) in virgo.

I don't read my horoscope daily either, I might glance at it from time to time and chuckle, but I don;'t put much merit into it. I have had my chart read twice in my life, both my friends who are very intuitive and well versed in astrology, that was quite insightful.

Well, in my culture and my religion, a lot of things are based on vedic astrology.

Like for instance when we buy a new car, house whatever can be considered material, we would consult an astrologer for a good time, so that the God's overhead would shower blessings on us.

It has been known if, for instance, you don't consult an astrologer and you get married, your marriage is likely NOT to work.

So, astrology is an essential part of a hindu home, but geez i don't even look at the paper to see if I'm gonna have a bad day or good day, come on guys, live for the moments not the days!!!

I can't say that don't believe because It possible wrong or right. Bible have some in Astrology about Nimrod who most evil in the world and Abraham.

I didn't know Astrology so much. When if a person hurt or bad terrible or threaten me then I read Astrology then know truth and avoid a person!

I used to think astrology is crap. Then a friend, who is a believer in astrology brought me a book for my birthday, which had a year's worth of daily horoscope stuff based on my star sign, Taurus. I promised her I would read it each day.

I can't say that everything in the book was 100% true, but I found that it did help give me a sense of direction in life. I also learnt more about myself; my personality, strengths and weaknesses. And, I was also able to read people's personalities.

I haven't gotten a new book, so now I am without direction..

I also use the stars to find my way. At night, the end of the tail of Ursa Minor is always north. Or you can use the pointer stars in The Big Dipper, part of Ursa Major. In daylight, our closest star shows in the east in the morning and in the west just before night fall. There are lots of other directions and information revealed in the skies.

Astrology isnt religious.. or science.. Astrology is a tool.

Astrology is a science and an art. It's a science because it's has disciplines, solid structure and an art because translate the symbolic meanings of the stars of others.

Astrology is study of stars. Horoscope is study based on daily from your D/O/B likely weekly or monthly. Same thing.

you can consult a couples who plan to marry in future, but they must marry during new moon(waxing). Of course, marriage need to understand each other based on his/her planets etc..like.weak/strength area so they can notice easy.

Yeah i read somewhere that said its better to get married during waxing moons. I wondered why? if it was after waning moon .. what would happen?

I got married last year and the phase of the Moon on 19 January: waxing crescent with 1% of the Moon's visible disk illuminated but still it didnt work out for us? haha!

We both are scorpios.

i always watched the news in times of a Full Moon(waning- negative), i understand why people became destructive, "lunatic," eccentric, moody and psychopathic. That is simple astronomical observations can only provide the scientist's mind with knowledge for interpreting the physical lunar(moon) cycle's phase.

1 % is not enough imposed to it.

both scorpios? cool. You both seem down to earth couples.

I dated with Cancer before. We weren't work out. I found it out he cheated on me. He lied to me all the times. I was sick of him! He always being moody and emotional and greedy with money.

yeah but he was controlling and telling me to draw a line with my son's father. i cant cuz the father have custody of our son? i have right to contact the father to make sure TJ is ok, etc. He didnt understand that I am a mother. That is sad. he cut off the phone without discussing with me and everything. always hot tempers and cold to me all times. he is still an immature child and need to grow up and face the reality. sigh.

we are so oppositie.. im a night owl and he is morning person. i dont see how we got together? LOL... weird... i always thought scorpios would work... but it didnt... i guess its due to family values and growing up?? i dont know. heh!
