A deaf person just stopped by my house to drop things off… I went to the kitchen and get papers.

He approached me. He looked so sudden shock!

I said what s matter?

Wouldn't you think it is odd for an adult to think that a four-year-old child would talk like this? Perhaps...instead of assuming what he thought it was, he could have asked your daughter (or you) what she was talking/asking about.

I agree with SouthFella and Brian, the visitor was out of line on many levels. If he absolutely had to tell you, it should have been in a "kids say the darndest things" way.

I know different deafies say "fellatio" different ways, but I've mostly seen it like in the movie The Replacements. The lips saying "Oh" while the O-hand taps the cheek twice. So I was like Karrisa and didn't see a clear connection.

Oh, well, all of that aside, the story's a cute one.
