That's wonderful!

... but I'm surprised she's alive as I thought once horses/ponies have broken or badly infected legs, they're put down.

I still remember Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro, who would be euthanized due to broken leg. The news coverage tugged at your heart while you felt a sense of doom.

Yes I remember Barbaro. I felt so bad for the horse though because he was in top condition healthwise and one mistep broke his leg which kept getting infected further complicating things and eventually the Vets in charge of his care spoke with the owners, trainers, and riders, and they all came to the decision to euthanize Barbaro.

I almost cried when I heard the news that Barbaro had been put down. It would make a good movie similar to 'Sea Biscuit'.

I have a good friend of mine who is a Vet Student at LSU and this is the very thing she is interested in, Equine Medicine.

remind me of Ruffin.. that name of horse.. very famous horse filly horse.. that horse is only one horse were grave at Belmont race track! no horse does that way ..

sea biscuit is a good movie as true story.. it is about west vs east and many more..
ruffin was about filly vs gelding.. and about that horse too..

but that horse.. molly is very interesting ! wow! same way in human! you know army guy lost thier leg at war,, so they get metal leg something like that.. it same way!
