Booksignings all over for my bestselling novel.

*Read how a deaf amature detective is smart enough to tie his shoes and solve complicated cases with four sharp senses.
*Learn how speech reading isn't as easy as you always thought.
*See rich images of deaf people actually drive cars and have sex.
*Be astounded at the clever ways the deaf really communicate with clueless hearies (plus new uses for pencil and paper).
*See service dogs bite audists barring entrances to public buildings.

Chase, you come up with some beauties!

As for my dream job ... even though it’s only a temporary one, I would have loved to be a part of the working lifestyle in Antarctica for 12-18 months.

Okay, I've never experienced sex myself, but I have deafie friends who brag about it.

Way off topic: I taught at MSU-Northern in Havre, Montana. I see you're in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Before zip codes, the U.S. Post Office often missent letters to both.

Speaking of Havre, you can train there for your dream job, Oz. Roald Amundsen spent the night there and thought he was back at the South Pole. Is there a project for Antarctic living brewing?

No. Seriously. Your time frame seemed so definite that I thought you might be applying for a position in a living project. If there isn't one, there should be. It's a whole new continent to colonize.

No, that's only a dream ... as for starters, don't think I would pass any physical tests. Plus some downsides, there are far more people who want to work in Antarctica than there are jobs available.

With some exceptions, Antarctic personnel are specialists in a particular field, enthusiastic generalists can get jobs in Antarctica, but the field of applicants is that much larger.

It is expensive to transport personnel to and from Antarctica, so while 3-6 months may suit people best, longer than this makes more sense for those who pay the bills.

There is another dream job I would love to do ... photograph nature. One day, I will do that.

Yeah Havre de Grace is a strange little place, translates as Harbor of Grace, but i think it really means Safe Haven for Drunken Rednecks on a Saturday Night...

Seriously I like it here, its close to Baltimore and far enough away from my family that they dont come to visit.

Im telling ya - I hit those high notes for Insatiable and start getting funny looks like I have gone mad (in which case I probably have for attempting in the first place anyway).

I've thought about trying out for Idol - not to be the best but to be the one that sings so horrendously that Im funny and they keep me because Im just hilarious. LOL I damn sure don't have the looks of a rockstar anyway,

Don't feel bad. You're not alone. I've always wanted to be a teacher, especially for the deaf children.

Either it was into deaf education or into psychology, for me that is.

I think I would love it and I am pretty close to both the MD and DE schools for the Deaf, I just need to finish off my degree... Who knows maybe I will make it happen.

You should go for it. What's stopping you? Patience is always a virtue.

Nope. I meant word for word. It is a phrase. Actually, the exact phrase would be "Patience is a virtue."
