The Sleight Of Hand Game
Ok, I'm going to restart this game. And I'm going to rename
it! So the name of this game is: SLIGHT OF HAND The purpose of this game is to see if you can guess the English idom. Try to make up a sign that will help some one guess what the idom is. Example: If I signed: If I tapped the letter R on the top right side of my head and then placed that R inside my c shaped hand, while shaking my head no, what would that English idom be? Idom: I am not in my right mind Meaning: I am crazy Don't forget to type the Idiom and then type the meaning. OK here goes. Make the sign for: "to begin" on the top of your head then sign "want" OK what is the English Idiom and what is the meaning? Last edited by Bear; 02-11-2008 at 03:45 AM. |

When Dyslexics Sign
You think I'm bad here you should see me at Church pot lucks when there
is total immersion. Sometimes I sign the word that is next in the sentence before the last word and then sign the first word. Some how my Deaf friends are able to interpret. (But not after a few curious looks) ![]() OK next one. Make the sign for "applying cosmetics" on the fore head. What is the English idiom? What is the meaning? |

The Slight of Hand Game
Thank you Byrdie
OK that was a pass. On to the next one. Make the sign for "worm" but instead of having it crawl across your arm, have it crawl across your mouth. Then sign "wait". heeheeehee this is a good one! |

Ok, the English Idiom is......
"I am waiting with baited breath. Meaning: eager anticipation of any event, (usually has lovers implication. For example, the woman who must wait for her man to finish work before they can be together will caress his cheek and say in a sexy manner, "I am waiting with baited breath. Bait = worm breath = worm crawling across mouth. |

The Slight of Hand Game
Make the hand shapes for "bone" but instead of placing them
on your chest with your wrists crossed, make an up and down movement in front of your body, like you would for the sign "argue" Meaning: Something that two people would argue about. What is the English Idiom? |
