the state of Alabama. Helen Keller was born in Tuscumbia in 1880, 1898 the first hearing aid was made by a company called Akouphone, and Heather Whitestone was the first Deaf woman to win the Miss America pageant, she was from Alabama and Lives in Birmingham now. sos Byrdie it's your "turnie"!
