Who's got a hobby?

I know alot of you here have hobbies such as off-roading in Jeeps, motorcycles and what not.

My hobby is retriever training particularly for AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials. Awesome game to play and you are constantly on your toes. And not only that its never same dog twice and it is never same setup twice.

Right now due to financial issues, I have had to bow out from it, but I hope that one day I can get right back into it. I just hope the Super Retriever Series is still around then.

So whats your hobby??

Do you subscribe to Backpacker magazine?? That is an awesome magazine and often I wish I could go for a backcountry hike sometime, but for now my hiking is limited to the local trails when I get the free time.

I honestly would if I could - I normally charge $10/hour. Pros charge twice that.

But seriously if you want a good hunting lab find a program you like and stick with it to a T and not only that you may have to borrow from more than one program at times. Also find a training group in your area whether it is AKC or UKC, Ive had more experience with the UKC folks, but next go around I plan on hanging with the AKC folks.

If you want tips and what not, shoot me an email or PM and I'll help you out. There is a plethora of resources for your retriever all over the place.

Until stay focused and consistent and be a pack leader!

I have various hobbies, but I'm not a fanatic.

I collect Star Wars and Transformers stuff from time to time.

I used to collect comic books, but after coming to RIT... I stopped.

I also collect DVDs (especially television shows on DVD) and anime.
