Thank you for info. It will be my first time. My friend send a letter last Saturday. I checked my mailbox and there have no letter from my friend. I was wondering how long it arrive. I realize that Canada or other Country take more time.

you might want to ask the post office for speedy delivery you might have to fork up some extra money to do so. check with your local P.O. before sending.

That's something best left for the post office to answer. Why don't you visit your local post office and ask them?

Next day shipping is so expensive! I am not one to send a letter. My friend from Canada send me a letter. I wish that I let my friend know that I would rather have him use fast postage. But Too late. Oh Well

Generally and logically, international mail will take longer--international mail, from Canada to USA varies, just like it is from USA to Canada. It depends on the country's Postal Services. Regular mail such as letters, flyers, etc. will usually take anywhere from 2-4 days, locally and states nearby will usually take 1 day, however, packages or items in bulk can take longer, especially if it is delivered 3rd class which can take up to a week and much longer. Consumers who desire to have such a package (goodies like cookies, gifts, etc.,) arrive early will go with the priority mail which is 2 day mail, at most 3-4 days depending on locations.

It would be safe to say that a letter from Canada to the USA will take 4 to 7 days.

Hmm...expecting something ummm... (ofc, I'm j/k with you)

Depend how much do you expense the mail cost rate..

If you paying 51 cents and takes you 1 week and 1/2 days and to recieve the mail.

If you paying more than 51 cents and takes you within 2 to 3 days.

But in usa always have open 6 days post office.. isn't same as canada post office takes 5 days only following the business hours.

I paid for 3.50 dollars sumth'n.. takes 3 days following the business within next day to ready ship it out... mail goes to usa.. will receive likely next 3 days.. Total 4 days.. Isn't bad.. eh.

If package cost the weight depend the choice, as such preference ship it out within days or rush.. cost you more than 2-3 days value the higher price.

Goes clear for you ?

I do sometimes buy some stuff on eBay from Canada and it took me 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to arrive my mailbox, so I guess borderline has to open the box to make sure no bomb threat or bsbs before send it to me...
