About Ear piercing

I have 00 Gauge earings in both ear lobes. I plan to join the army and it isn't permitted to wear them
My question is, Will the holes grow over?
This is worrying me, any and all help is appreciated.

I have no idea... but I think it would be much harder because the ligaments are further apart.

Better to ask a specialist or professional about that...

In my opinion, I wouldn't be shocked if you needed to get stitches, but I hope you don't.

The holes will shrink over time if you take the earrings out.

A good place to get this kind of info: BMEZINE

The holes will cover by itself when you never use it.

like lucia said they shrink over time - take the 00 out for a few days - week and see if the 0 fits then wait a week - 3 weeks and start moving down to your old earings, it ushaly take a long long time to shrink I am told, but it's better to have something their wile doing it - 00 is not all that big so it should not be to long, and after you get out they will stretch right back up again

They will shrink they won't fully close expecially with you being at 00. I have a friend who was at 00 and went down to a 6 in a month and than went back to a 18 and just wore normal ear rings. The hole thing is amazenly if you've had them for a long time ear holes never close they shrink but they never fully close
