Very interesting thread... I didn't know you all are on the wheel-chair... I know only 3 persons who are on the wheel-chair... One is former ADer and two ADers. Unfortunlately I can't name the ADers here because they don't post this thread here.

Alex, if he's got medicaid or medicare.. they provide a powered wheelchair and misc. for his needs. Get your friend to call his medicare and find out where he can get those under medicare.
If he doesn't have medicare, ask around the churches to help buy him one. Most of the time, they do help. Just my 2 cents. |
