I agree with your brother...**** that $155 just for sunglasses? fk that!

Edit: I rather to spend $150 worth on clothes, etc than just ONE THING sunglasses...it's waste of money.

that cost sounds approximate to a Rx glasses/sunglasses -- ive had to spend that much $$ for Rx glasses (mine is the transitional kind that goes from regular glasses to sunglasses in the same lens u know what i mean qq)

if theyre not for Rx -- dont bother -- get those cheeper sunglasses for $40 or less -- save that much money for other things that would last a long time

I got my sunglasses for 20 bucks... and I have had them for three years already. Love them still. I must agree with your brother for not buying that expensive sunglasses. They may be stolen easily,... they may be broken easily (if you are not careful).

These kinds of glasses are easy to get if you have an eye doctor working with your eyes. I attend my eye doctor regularly, and he offered me these kind of glasses, but I denied because I prefer disposable contact lens with cheap sunglasses. LOL

I think spending 155 bucks on a pair of sunglasses is kinda crazy.

I only paid 20 bucks for mine, and it's quite comfortable. Of course, that would be like 15 bucks or less to you in US Dollars.

I never buy Oakley glasses...I had one given to me..and it broke when I played baseball two weeks later. That gave me the idea not to pay for an expensive sunglass.

It's just a motorcycle...forget the ninjas..just buy a honda..it's cheap..and when you buy the ninja..you're just buying a name.

buying expensive glasses are just plain ridculous i perfer the standard type, cheep 12- 40 bucks glasses are just fine as opposed to a measly 115 bucks think about this that money u buy gets u a two weeks of food on the table for two, so it's not suprising... considering oakley are breakable and wastable money!

I know u guys mean... Few hours ago, I talked to the doctor to set a straight and he said any cheap sunglasses will not be protected your eyes. He said the sunglasses I am talking about will protected your eyes that's why its expensive.

it explains everything
UVA/UVB Protection
UVA rays have been shown to penetrate the under layers of the skin, causing damage and contributing to the skin's aging. UVB rays, the sunburn rays, are the ones that cause the most concern. They can cause keratitis, which is similar to a sunburn on the eye, and have been linked to the development of cataracts. Sunglass lenses block 99% of harmful UV rays.

Polycarbonate Plastic
An extremely strong plastic that is often used in aircraft and motorcycle wind shields. Lightweight and extremely impact-resistant.

Metal
Metal frames usually start with base metals that are copper or nickel alloys. They are then plated with fine metals, such as gold, to give them a rich finish.

$40 bucks more for

Anti-Reflective Coatings
A violet-colored coating on the back of a lens that prevents sunlight from coming in from behind and reflecting off the back of the lens into the eyes. This coating is most useful on water or snow.

That sounds about right.

There's even some cheap sunglasses with 100% polarized Ultraviolet protection that are decent enough.

What happened to warrenty? when u buy a new sunglasses its free for one year. after that, I think $50 bucks for the next 5 years or less. I will find out more informations before I make a decision.

It's your money. You're entitled to anything, even if it's a pair of Oakley sunglasses if your heart is really set on that. You learn the lesson as well as enjoying the benefits. haha!

Personally, I'd spend it all on books, clothes, and DVD movies. hehehe *wicked*

I like some oakley sunglasses and they are cool, of course, it won't fit my face. Sad. Anyway, the prices are very unrealistic. I got rx sunglasses instead and costs my dad $250 bucks. Smiles.

Anyway, If I have $155, what can I do? Pay off credit card debt, buy new clothes, food, or whatever it is very realistic to you.

Maybe you can find similiar glasses at reasonable prices. Good luck.
