Bawling!

I wish I would have seen that rainbow bridge site sooner. I lost my pup about 2 years ago.
I miss her a lot still. Somehow the pain really never goes away. I lost her at 4 months of age.

It made me sad remembering dear lil Rosy

Hugs to all of you who have lost a pet...I totally share
your pain and sadness.

It is a beautiful site and I love it. I go there once in a while. I was there for the lost of my foster dog. They do have candlelite cermony on Monday nite at 10 pm eastern time. Hope you can go there and say your prayer for your love one.

I know how you feel, I had a dog who grew up with me since birth that died on aug 4, 1998, it was very painful to let her go, as she was 18 years old. I also had a cat that died last year, I loved my cat, she was only 2 years old, but had upper respirory disease and her liver and heart just stopped while in animal hospital. I really miss her.

In 3 more weeks, I will give away my 6 puppies ( 5 girls and one boy - Coonhound and German Shepherd ). I will sorely miss them.
I even consider keepin' one that has a white tuxedo on her chest with half white paws. Aww .. she is soo beautiful ! I am not sure if, I keep her or not. I am still strugglin' to make a decision. Grr LOL

Yeah, it is so hard to get over the grief you lost pets..

I still not get over grief of my 21 years old Sarah (domestic cat).. I had her when she was few days old runt, resuce and hand fed.. we had GREAT bond..

sigh.. miss you Sarah..
and I think that pets are hard to get over with because they only listen and be there for you when you are sad, depressed or stress.. they just go cuddly in your arms when you talk.. they dont talk back.. they show love back..

and also, I still not stop get over my emotions (cry) if i see dog being attacked, it brought me flash back that pitbull attacked our dog last fall.. still so scary.. sigh..

emotions are hard to get over.. same with kids.. or loved ones

I know what you mean. They do give lot of love and knowing when you are sad or depress. I am glad to have my 2 cats and a dog. They are always there when my son is not home so I wont feel left out.

I had a pekingese named "Tara" till she was 15 years old. She started becoming so sick. I could see her time was coming. On Nov. 19th, 2004 I sat with her for 2 hours. She just didn't have the strength anymore. For some reason, she just hung on. Then as it was approaching hour number 2, I told "Tara", that if she was ready to leave, that she can go. I didn't want her to suffer anymore. After a few minutes, Tara barked 3 times, laid her head down next to me, and went home with God. It was the most heartbreaking sight, and I cried for a week. So to all of you who have lost a pet that has been such a dear part of your family!!!
