Unhappy Disappointing

I'm taking a break away from AD, until things cool down around here at AD, I'm seeing some members attacking, and being bittering at each others, instead of agree to disagree in a civil manner. This is getting way out of control, it's not my taste. Sorry, and Good luck.

I hear you sis, and I see it myself too, and personal sick of the harsh comments and the personal attack, it seem some of them do not follow the rules I'm tired pressing the bad report button but it seem nothing it taken care of and now I feel like I don't even know why I'm still here, maybe cause I'm trying to darn hard to ignore it but it's hard to not allow myself to take it to the heart but hey I'm senstive and it does hurt my feelings and I tried so hard to see it both ways but it seem it not enough for some members here, I feel like I'm wasting my time on complaining instead of really ignoring it and let them keep hurting me like hell

Whenever a member makes a report (bad or good), how is it that anyone knows what the Mod Team does? Making these sort of reports give us insight and helps 'us' watch...and initiate any action(s) when neccessary to do so.

For instance: One of the report made today was about a person posting a 'scam' within one of the threads...apparently that individual was 'banned' and post removed. Other reports give us moderators a cutting edge to whom or what threads to keep a closer eye on as we can't always be watching every post/thread....

We do also understand that not everyone is going to get along with one another or agree in terms of agreeing to disagreeing here in AD--sometimes it is best to step back for a little while and allow things to cool down as well as to report such posts that calls for 'our' attention if needed.

Bottom line, please give us moderators a chance....

The only way for us to avoid these ignorant members is to ignore them and not even bother to keep on debating with them. I decided recently not to bother to go into these threads where they can be found at.

Yes I´m agree with Butterflygirl.

I´m sorry how you feel like this, Cheri... Like what Butterflygirl suggest is the best... You will feel good when you ignore people who can´t agree to disagree with you.

I am sorry to hear about this, Cheri.

Trolls are so annoying -- they deserve to be banned -- for good! Sometimes it is impossible to ignore them.

not again! Please ignore them and move on and don't bother debating them. I know it's hard to resist but it's better that way. By the way, let you go and cool off and come back. We will miss you.

Yes I see this too and I am considering taking a break myself. I came here to learn and I have learned much. I am getting overwhelmed by some of the responses and it gets frustrating to me when the threads veer so far off topic. I'ts too bad when people like you that have valuable insight and opinoins have to step away like this. Sometimes it's the best thing to do and when you come back you will have a new perspective. Thank you for sharing your experiences and insight and perhaps we will cross paths again here at AD.

Oh gee. Another one after another one got attacking by other ADers here.

Yeah, get out of here for awhile to cool you jet down or upsetting.

True, eveyone are not in same boat. Just wish they gotta be better respect the people's thinking or opinions. I don't give damn what they would telling me of my thinking...then I realized other ADers might be more feeling.

All ADers, Be strong and you got good people on your sides.

Come back soon or later, Cheri. from all of us.

Absolutely!

The mods walk a thin line. If they don't "control" situations quickly and publicly then people complain that the mods aren't doing their job. If they do quickly and publicly clean up situations or lock threads, then people complain that the mods are "too controlling". You can't win. Mods can never satisfy all the people, all the time. You just have to roll with the punches.

I am not sure what happened as far as the attacks go but Cheri please
reconsider don't let someone run you away from AD. It's their issue, not yours. As far as you go, you are a great assest to this community and site. You are a great person, and people deserve to be able to have a relationship/friendship with you on AD. For those that are just starting out, don't let them miss an opportunity to meet such a sweet lady.

Let them walk away....but you don't have to.
