Cops have quotas on tickets. Part of the ticket fines goes into their
paychecks. One little thing wrong, BOOM! ticket.

Yup!! Batting your eyes and showing your cleavage really helped, huh??

J/K!!

But I wonder what happens when it's a chick cop.. Is there a different attitude from either male or female cop, or the same??

My hubby got speeding ticket when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. I thought I was having contractions (false contractions). He was going 5 mph over the speed limit. He got pulled over by a cop (remind ya, we live in VA). The cop cited him speeding 15 mph over the limit and marked him off agressive driver. My Hubby had to appear in court.

My hubby was so pissed off because they gave him so many points where he will have his license revoked. So he showed up at the court, the judge said that my hubby had clean record and did not have speeding ticket like over 7 yrs, judge said the cop went over his line so the judge waived everything and gave my hubby points back.

Some cops just want to give you the hell out of it. grrr.

Take the subway next time. You won't worry about parking and traffic in NYC.

It's pretty fishy the way the cops issue tickets, I agree.
Once I could have gotten two tickets. I went through a red light and then immediately made a right turn and didn't completely stop for a stop sign. I was on a sideroad in a hilly area, and I saw the cherries of the squad car popping behind me, but I continuted driving to find an appropriate spot to pull over. The poor cop thought I was Ignoring him because he pulled up alongside me and made it clear from his gestures that he wanted me to pull over. I finally did, and he was very angry when he came to my window and demanded if I knew what it meant when his lights are going off behind me. I said that I did. He asked me why I failed to do so. I explained that because the sideroad was narrow and in a hilly area, I was concerned about his safety since cars coming over the hill behind us might not see him in time to make proper maneuvers to avoid hitting him, etc.
He was silent for a few seconds and then muttered that he was going to let me go with a warning even though he could give me two tickets.
So, there is a tip for you, butter them up, lol.

I did told the police officer that I never had a ticket before, and my driver record is good, he said if I had let you go with a warning then others will keep driving thru the yellow light... It don't make no sense cause others still do so have I from time to time, this is the first time I ever got pulled over for driving thru a yellow light...
That's BS! It make me angry about this! It's not acceptable for police who
caught the police officer. I am anti-cops. But I knew, their cops would be protect the serve for us from the murders, rape, and something with serious crime people who thrown in the jail.

When my son was a toddler, he had febrile seizures when he had a fever, or was outside and got too hot. They were just like a grand mal seizure.

Anyway, he had a seizure at home when he was about 3, and I put him in the car laying across the front seat with his head in my lap so if he vomited, he wouldn't aspirate and choke. I was speeding, and a cop pulled me over. I told him what was wrong and asked him to escort me to the hospital about 2 miles away. He turned on his siren and gave me an escort, then came into the emergency room and gave me a ticket for not having my son in a car seat! Luckily, my son's pediatrician offered to go to court with me and tell the judge that it would have endangered my son's life to put him in a car seat during a seizure, and the ticket got thrown out. But I oculdn't beleive the nerve of that cop! This happened in TN. BTW.

I remembered when I was stopped by US Milatary Police in caserne that's time I was ill with flu-virus because I "ignored" the sign "STOP" last April. I drove very slowly and make sure that other car are there or not. They stopped me before I got out of caserne and told me what they saw. They noticed that my face is very white and also noticed my weak voice when I spoke that I am deaf. All what they asked me: Are you okay? I told them that I just got flu-virus and want to go home ASAP before it will get worst (I already vomited at restroom few minutes before leave work). They hurried to warn me to not do that again next time and let me go without ticket me... *phew* It's good to know that there're some good and understanding police.

Thank you. He outgrew the seizures...hasn't had one since he was 7 years old. And we got lucky....a female judge with 12 children of her own! She was definately sympathetic to a mtoher and child.

Judge with 12 kids.... You are very blessing to have her on your court instead of single and motherless or fatherless judge. WHEW
