U know after a total one yr of assessing myself and relizing one thing i can't be around hearing poeple cuz i can tell u one thing they just want to tell me later, or i would be the last to know, but i relized one thing, IM proud to be deaf just am sick and tired of dealing with hearies who can't concept that we can do anything and be anything we want and they are freaking out thinking we are fucking retards and watching them reject us, but its of no matter to me I FUCKING am PROUD to be deaf, and not only that i have wonderful deaf friends who i consider my family, sorry mom and dad ur now the second family considering the years of u putting me last to know basis and the first to feel what rejection is all about i simply feel that they love us yes but do they understand us? no they expect us to think we re nothing in communication and doesn't think everything we do is important and communication was important. I'm grateful for mom for learning sign but has she kept up? no cuz she's too busy with her own life, Well i also have alife and would like to be able to talk to my family without feeling like i wouldn't be understood. Sigh at them....
