Son you need a bobcat to load those its gonna be murder on your back!

You do so much work around the house. Hope you do some relaxation and have some fun times as well!

have you ever tried to use a FREE section of Craigslist?
you'd be amazed what weird things people need and take away..
An old adage "one man garbage is another's treasure" has never been more true than there :)

here's what came up when I put "yard" under "free" in, say,
Eastern Montana (I don't know where you are Son,) :
eastern montana free stuff " yard" - craigslist

put anything in the search window on the left and see what comes up. people do need stuff for their landscaping.
what usually is the problem, as I know from my own renovating experience, they often do not have their own transportation.
but if you are willing to deliver, you probably will save anyway b/c dumping sites can be more expensive than gasoline you'll spend delivering stuff.
Just ask whomever is taking whatever to unload it by themselves :)

ps - do not hurry offering to deliver, though :)

Yes I did, had a few people ask about the stones for firepits, but never showed, had others offer to haul it away for cash...wasn't happening. So I just looked up free dump for clean fill and got a few local, took the closest one. had the stepdaughters boyfriend load it and unload it. Truck was pretty squatted with 1/2 of it, have to take another load when the ground firms up some more.

Really! I can't believe it. when we advertised our 'crap',
it was like, the phone wouldn't stop ringing. someone always showed up sooner or later, we got rid of everything we needed to, even and old coffee table and well worn futton.

and sometimes the free stuff WE needed like a garden dirt, gravel, rocks was gone before we managed to ask for it, and it was barely 45 minutes since the add was posted.
hmmm maybe the matter is "location, location, location" ?? ;)

Well, I know what you mean. Last year everyone wanted firewood/brush to burn for bon fires...when I had the 2 massive oaks taken down the deal was they sell the wood on site as they cut to make a profit and they leave the brush for me to deal with...thinking this, I was ok with it.
I put the brush on CL and not a soul wanted it??? wow so I had to pay to have most of it hauled away. Now when I first put the rocks up when they were fixing the basement everyone came to get them, now...its dead? Guess too hot? Maybe this fall when it cools they will come out again?

yeah, I am sure of it. just wait when it is rainy and cold, then everyone
all of a sudden is looking for free fire wood, including kindling and all :)
