New MAD MAX film coming up in 2015 !!!

I don't know...Mel Gibson will always be Mad Max...I wish Hollywood would push something original instead of putting out another tired remake....it seems like all they do these days...

well....think about it.....its also trying to capture some $$ from the older crowd who was then young (when the first gen Mad Max's were released) and they weren't the brightest crowd, nonintellectuals, petrol heads, hotrodders, high school kids now in the middle ages, had kids and wants to feel young again and HAVE $$$,
so they Hollywood, knows this and sees this as an oppurtunity go get more $$ from this middle-agers who'd want to see 'what's next happens' in their beloved Mad Max Triology....

remakes? it is not.....

hmmmm
films isn't just about story or originality, it's a business

Ugh. Hollywood are out of ideas hence too many movies with part 123456 makes me zzzzz.
 
I'm amazed at some people don't actually read and understand what I'm saying...all this 'just to 'sound cool or all-knowing' I repeat IT IS NOT A RE-MAKE, also being a 'sequel' isn't a simple matter, especially when you don't consider what is the marketing perspective of blockbusters film, or rather, seeing it from the amalagamationalisation of the interest of the cohorts of the 30 years ago era coupled with some of today's youths in hope of doubling the revenue of otherwise been only seen by today's increasingly fragmented film-viewing interest.
 
I'm a huge fan of the first movie... second and third not as much. Unfortunately, the cool fascist cops vs outlaw bikers thing is gone, everyone expects leather-clad berzerkers driving custom hotrods from a Mad Max movie now.
 
first was the best, second, not too bad, third one sux, Tina Turner ruined it

Having just watched the Comicon trailer... MEH. Completely misses the point even more than Beyond Thunderdome did.
 
I have my reservations about this..... ok, they didnt film it in Australia, which I can live with - but they trashed the XB again???

On the plus side, Tom Hardy is usually very watchable...... I know it's never going to be as good as the first 2 films, but I'll find out...

It's meant to be set in the period between the first and second movies. So why is there a two headed lizard? The nuclear war wasn't until between the second and third movies.

Also, the plot of Fury Road is that there's a gang of slavers who've captured Max, and Furiosa (Charlize Theron) is trying to get her band of 'valuable fertile women' to safety and away from the slavers.

Yet in the second movie, the marauders capture a woman trying to escape from the oil refinery, have their way with her and then kill her.

Plot holes, big enough to drive a big spiky armoured truck through.
