What are the most relaxing hobbies or what makes you very relaxed?

For me ..

Biking out in the woods
Hot baths or sitting in a hot Jacuzzi on a cold night
Campfires
Reading a book
Swimming laps

You?
 
Reading
Computer games
Interacting with my dogs.
 
I use to like to walk around the duck pond and watch the ducks but too many stupid parents are bring their kids there to hunt for snapping turtles and play the disgusting water.
 
I like reading and spending time with good people.

One of the things I use to do when living in the mountains is just going out on walks through the forest. Then I got a hammock and so I would just go find a secluded spot in the woods and just lay in my hammock for hours.

That day, there were absolutely no people out. A rare thing to find these days.

When I was younger which is many moons go I use to go the beach and watch and listen to the waves all by myself . It was very peaceful .
 
A day just like today. Taking the boat out with my hubby to a beautiful lake, dropping anchor in a quiet beautiful cove, nice lunch then some reading.

I love walking on the beach too. Going to do that in the near future.

-Sleeping lol
-used to love swimming- really need to get back into that...
-listening to music- about the only thing left that I like about hearing aids anymore...
 
It's raining cats & dogs today....streets are flooded...so on days like this, I either watch Lifetime TV or snuggle with my doggie....Other days, to relax, I go shopping....:giggle:....and work with my plants & flower garden.

This year, watering the garden, love to read and play games on Facebook and Forums, and going grocery shopping. I want to exercise walking on the sidewalks but I am living way out in the back road where there is no sidewalks. The back road is narrow road and rough. It is not the same back up on the rez in Canada. :(

I do that...watch Lifetime TV on rainy days.
 
Been a long time since I found tranquility. There was this hidden little spot in Alaska I used to love called Donnelly dome. Now a days I would probably say going under the hood with my camera. Trying to tell the story while not being in the way. It's a good way to forget yourself through focus. I'm also a pretty serious archer/bowhunter... that's always been good for me.
