ASK YOUR ASL TEACHER HOW DID THE TEACHERS FIND HERE THIS FORUM "ALLDEAF".

THIS FORUM IS DESIGNED FOR AN ONLINE SOCIAL ENTERTAINMENT FOR EVERYONE WHO HAVE SOME VARIES OF COMMON WITH EXPERIENCES. THIS FORUM IS NOT DESIGNED FOR THE INTERVIEWING MEMBERS ABOUT THEIR HEARING LOSS.

I think it's weird.

I admit that I have not gone to other several forums that anyone asked for the interview that relates with cultures such as asian culture, jewish culture etc. like that. are there like people looking for the interview with members who are on forum like this??

You forget the culture of teaching cats to clap.

How about telling people is will cost $100 a hour to help them learn ASL or to tell our whole life story in one sitting.

Teachers choose it because its the firat one that comes out ahen you sear h deaf forums. I have seen some students from the other asl teacher log in here to ask questions ans leave Fter making like 2 posts.

:thumbd:...you don't know ASL, WDYS!!!...funny you are even commenting.

I'm glad the local ASL teachers do not tell their students to go find a deaf person for interviews or whatever. One will say go to at least 4 Deaf socials or opportunity to socialize with the deaf (just randomly socializing with one deaf person somewhere), IN PERSON, as part of their grade. Not online, but actual face to face socialization. Then they have to write a paper about their social experiences. It helps that the local deaf community is very open to students learning ASL coming to the social events, and the ASL teachers are in close contact with the deaf community and share when upcoming social events are to give the students every opportunity to get out and socialize and practice their ASL skills.

If you can post Happy Easter on my Passover thread , I can damn well post on an ASL thread !

Funny how someone can say...."charge them $100 an hour to teach them ASL"...and she cannot even sign ASL....and someone can just "blubber, blabber & blabber" on and on .....about our Rights...Pathetic....

Looks like we can link ASL students who are looking for last minute homework assistance to this thread from now on... so that way they can get a huge caps slap in the face and go back to their ASL teacher and tell them to stop sending people here... Maybe the word will get out... Maaaaaaybe.... :hmm: Frisky, you need to put up a picture with your original post of a scary cat with claws so it's more scary... that and the caps will certainly drive them away... :D

Maybe ... if we can find out who the instructor is ... then get a few hundred members from here to send them requests for an interview of a ASL instructor about why they chose to be a ASL instructor :naughty:

i know its unbelievable, its not nothing to do with 'culture' to these stupid idiotic 'curious' really consider deaf culture as some kind of 'failed disability culture' simply put they consider s deaf people as a disabled group, not as a deaf group, its like 'Deaf' as idea has gone straight thru their eyeballs and out another.....

just typical....
