Engineer's lunch break...

My worries wouldn't be the height...
But what if it randomly malfunctioned and turned in the wind?!

mmm..just look at this guy standing at the end of the blade taking picture of him.... Just imagine with heavy wind high up!!

4 -brake.

Yea, in some designs the brakes are also used to keep the turbine from spinning too fast and tearing it self apart Danish Windturbine colapses in storm - YouTube

not surprised about that either, after all it is a freaken' expensive technology...i mean like, thats why we dont have one for Each houses.......indeed 'wind farms' are 'cheap-er' than nukes or dams...definitely...wind farm tech will change even more...even in some european countrie already have floating windfarms....

I'm not talking about the brake or starting to turn. I'm talking about the guy standing on about 8 feet wide, curved blade! No room for error...(of course he maybe wearing safety hardness and tethering), but just look at the width of it.....

Might be hollow. Maybe another hatch? I notice the one in the photo is tethered so you'd think they both are.
