Hello everyone~
I have created a new thread as many felt my previous thread was offending. Thus, I felt that a proper explanation on why I am doing is needed.
Basically, I am a student undergoing a project on the deaf to try and prove if my hypothesis; that the deaf may be in more danger is accurate or not so that I would be able to properly assess the situation. (Note, the hypothesis may or may not be true and I am in no way implying anything). In order to show that, it is required to show some statistics if this is true and that a survey on the deaf is the way to go as one response from a forum may not be sufficient and there are no research done to prove what we have hypothesized.
Yes, the hearing people are not as vigilant or alert as the deaf and would therefore be unable to accommodate to the changes if the were wearing headphones. But this is just a simple survey on the deaf and I am not trying to make each and everyone here a guinea pig.
I would also like to apologize to anyone whom I have offended from my previous thread due to my ignorance. Also, my username is not meant to disrespect anyone. It is just a name, I'm not trying to be a hero or saying that all of you here are any less.
After saying this, I hope you would help out with the survey as it really is vital to my group and that this is not to meant to make fun of anyone here whatsoever. I truly mean that.
