Fix ADer's Private Profile

I begin notice that a spammer visit my profile yesterday.

I have 2 suggestion offers.

First suggestion:

It should be the same example as Alex's thread... "Private Message Change"

OR

Second suggestion:

Our profile should be restriction for friends only to view Photo Albums (accept members thru Contacts & Friends to allow to view my albums).

I had a look on the FAQ. You can set your Photo Albums on private for only those who are on your friends and contacts list.

for get my attention but the display of background gone? I tried to get background display back but it doesn't work... ?

You're welcome. I had a look in a FAQ... try set up a public album for your background display only.

This what FAQ say for background.

You can also use images as background for various sections of you profile. First you will need to upload the background images to an album you have created (?). Background images can be sourced only from albums defined as public, or 'profile' type. Images in private albums cannot be used.

Huh? I did uploaded my background to the album, that's how I got my background. You feeling all-right?

I think they used

"Custom Profile Picture
You may upload a new custom image using the controls below.

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website"

Using their own URL or image from another website... ie: ya can save your background image on free image hosting website and paste the link to option 1.

Liebling, try set up one new album on public, upload the background. Leave the background album on public viewing only.

Now I understand why. This should do the trick: Put your background image on Album type: Profile - Pictures used to modify your profile style

This will hide it like Cheri's album.

I saw why... I think she decide the album for herself only without friends' view.

Hopefully Cheri can correct you.

* Public albums can be viewed by anyone
* Private albums can only be viewed by site staff (moderators, administrators) and your Friends and Contacts (info)
* Profile albums are viewable only by you. However, you can use the images to customize your public profile (info)

I don't know, I wasn't paying attention when I uploaded it in the album. I may have set it to private, I really don't remembered if I did or not.

i can see my photo album in my profile but it only show the celestial sky? oh well.

Cheri & FreakyCat,

I guess you both should check your Album file... I think you click number 3 for yourself only that's why we as your contact friends can't view your album.

If you want your pictures to be view by moderators, Admin. and your contact friends then click number 2, if not then choose number 3 for yourself only. I was mistake to click album for public so I choose number 2 instead of number 1.

1. Public albums can be viewed by anyone
2. Private albums can only be viewed by site staff (moderators, administrators) and your Friends and Contacts (info)
3. Profile albums are viewable only by you. However, you can use the images to customize your public profile
