Those who own both MVP and P3 .. Read this thread .. I got a question
I have a question for who have both MVP and P3
Do you use both same number? Or did you register a seperate number for P3 and for MVP? Why you choose this method? I got both and only 1 Purple number but I may forget to log out my MVP when I travel with my P3 Thank you . |

But why you choose a second number? You rather have a second number or you have problem with same number? , |

So it won't have the conflict... see that I have both so say if someone call my P3 numbers but my P3 is not turned on but my MVP is turned on at that time so it directs to my MVP instead of P3... that is before I had to register as a new user to retrieve a new local nums for my P3 only... not sharing same local nums for both P3 and MVP. Then it works good for both that way. Got it, I hope?

Imagine if you left your MVP on and you go out somewhere along with your P3 and you need to log in yet you are stuck that your MVP is still turned on at home. So get your own P3 numbers... it just gets easier.

I called Purple to get second number and they told me not to get second number for P3
They said to wait and hold soon firmware update let us use P3 and MVP one same number. So I dunno now cuz seem I can't get second number since they said wait for firmware update. . |

Strange... I think it's preferable to have separate numbers for MVP and P3. Mine works fine so does Chevy57 too.
If they want one local number for both videophones then you have to log off your MVP (or P3) then log in for another in case you might go somewhere out or something. Duh Hope that their firmware can separate them somehow. But you can still register as a new user at hovrs.com... fill out blah then choose P3 and retrieve the new # for it... I did just that. |
