I am just trying to comphrend the differences between WPA and WEP. Which one is the better? Please state your reasons.
I have searched for this information on AD, but I am afraid that I could not find it. Thanks! |

If you look up in Wiki, there is explaination on history and vulernables on WEP and WPA plus WPA2
It is all about security WEP is one of the oldest security protocol, unfortunately it is hackable. WPA and WPA has better security BUT not fool proof unhackable. Just that WPA2 would require much longer time to crack in network compared to WEP. Go ahead Wiki and learn

Some old desktop/laptop do not support WPA2 then use WPA1. WEP crack under 5 minutes.

Thank you all. The reason why is I am just new to my sprint MIFI card and accidently set up WEP instead of WPA2. Today, I figured it out myself and finally correctly set up WPA2. Whew! I am just learning, ok.
