I thought this 149.00 sale is over. It ended last night as of 8:00 PST.
Anyway, I was lucky that I was qualified for the special price,
$99.00 so I quickly purchased P3 netbook. That was two weeks ago or so...

The $99 deal is between the customer and AT&T, however, the deal they had is over. Customers can now purchase a P3 Netbook for $149 - it's not over.

Really, I purchased directly from Purple. I had never knew about special deal from ATT but when I got the netbook, I noticed there was a ATT logo. So I took ATT logo off as well as P3 logo. Now it is abviously Dell product.

Is there any difference between $99 netbook and $149 netbook?

No, I believe Purple allows that as long the client is Deaf or HoH. Recall Craig "DeafScooter" Uyeda, he bought at least 10 Purple Netbooks.

I confuse about it. My Purple Sales told me that one unit at limit only for hearing impaired client. I will discuss with my manager about it. I will find out.

Yes I was going to say about Craig too... he bought really a lot of P3 NBs (at least 10) at those prices $199, $149 and even $99. If he got alot, then why can't I get another one too? Seems unfair!

hes genius in someway yet illegal to Purple and copyright laws.

Right, there is no point in owning 10+ NBs but he bought them and made a lot of installations and upgrades to them and sell them at higher prices. I myself don't need a lot but I just want another NB.

I am wrong, it is 28 WHr cost $130, you use battery about 30-40 time (between 60 to 150 hours), battery will go dead, then you buy new battery cost $130

Dell : Dell 28 WHr 3-Cell Lithium-Ion Battery for Dell Inspiron 11z / Mini 10 Laptops : Power : Small & Medium Business

So he keep break by accident then order another? The touchscreen, SSD, and OSX are make sense but RAM? I dont believe it because there is no ram slot unless he have soldering skill.

WH mean Watt hour. That's mean max 28 watt per hour for battery. It don't mean cycle life.

He does have soldering skills but I don't know if he actually soldered the ram slot... he has 35 years experience in computer field. Additionally, he creates and fixes electric scooters and other electronic stuffs... yes he is a genius. He installed and upgraded all the bells and whistles in those Mini 9 NBs and sell them at higher prices.

If Purple allowed him to get a lot of NBs, then everyone else should be allowed as well with a maximum limit. If it later turns out that we can get another one, please let me know how to get it. Thanks!

not illegal, it is void warranty, if you remove case, can't replace but use solider, your own risk, if damage, final and throw away, but some good skill electronics.

people have many netbook with touchscreen mods kits
ASUS EEE, HP mini, Dell mini, ACER, more!! but I saw video and photo but I can't find where buy touchscreen mods kit, I am no idea where order electronics / mods
