My hearing friend was here.. Saw my sorenson VRS

She want it but I told her that it is for only deaf people. I show her website of D-link. But where is video?

where is video?
D-Link Shop - Home Page

Or

Can you tell me which one product that hearing people can buy and talking on VP with deaf?

No, not worth to call sorenson VRS, but if your friend wants to use the videophone to chat with deaf friend s and your friend knows ASL, then she only needs to get a D-Link DVC 1000 via ebay or some electronic stores, but these are hard to find you know?

Some of interpreters did apply for VP devices on purpose, so they use it to chat with some deaf people AND sometimes call VRS and sign at VRS interpreters.

Yup! lol

Would be that kind of calls counted as manufactured call minutes, probably not?

The are free to do that since how can they know they are actually hearing or not, anyway. lol

D-Link's DVC-1000 BROADBAND VIDEOPHONE is discontinued now. It's out of date.

There is another videophone which is almost new. D-Link DVC-2000 videophone:

D-Link Broadband Desktop Videophone

This videophone allows you to switch other videophone service without a contract from D-Link Company.

ACN Video Phone | IRIS 3000 Videophone
This company, ACN, has a contract for any customer to buy the ACN videophone with its telephone service. Just watch out any contract when you buy any videophone. I have no idea if you cancel this service which mean that you might have to return it back to the company.

I let my friend to borrow my Ojo at his house. He tried it, and it does not work. I think that my Ojo must be follow my house's IP address that cannot use at someone's house. Probably, Ojo Company saved my IP address in the databank.

DVC-1000 is still around, but I understand that it is discontinued, but still works fine, I have two at home at the moment.

and that DVC-2000 is shit.

and by the way, according the he Ojo issue, your friend needs to re-configure the IP address.

Yes, I know that D-Link DVC-1000 VP is discontinued now.

Hard to find some D-Link DVC-1000 by Ebay or other store.

If it's allowed then I would sell mine. When I got it, the agreement was not to sell it, but that was a long time ago. It's still sitting in a box here.

Yes, you can now. As long it is not sorenson VP-100 (then that's not allowed)

I don't know that you could sell it to someone but it s property of HOVRS. You better ask Purple tech support if selling or giving it to someone.

Best suggestion to give them a call and find out, si.

And these DVC-100, you can assign them with the 10 digit phone number, for example, Purple number, people can call to DVC -1000, but can not call outbound with these 10 digit, only IP address, because the interface is not up to date.
